Hi, guys.
We would like to tell you about the great application for future parents that supports Voice Over. (iPhone and iPad compatible) - MyBabySim.
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/my-baby-sim/id642371875?mt=8
My Baby Sim is a real baby behavior simulator that allows users to try themselves as parents of a newborn.
Try it and you`ll learn how to take care about a baby – change diapers, play, feed or stop your baby from crying. You can get all basic knowledge about parenthood and first three months of infant`s life from our app.
My Baby Sim analyzes how good you are as a parent, storing all data in a log. Compare your progress with recommendations to test yourself. There is also an ability to share your experience within the community and ask for advice both from baby care experts and from the other community members.
We would be grateful for your feedback and impressions about the game. We would also appreciate an information about any bugs or errors (hope you`ll not face them), and we’ll do our best to fix them.
Follow us on Twitter https://twitter.com/MyBabySim (@MyBabySim) and join our community!

My Baby Sim is now available for Android! It works with Voice Assistant (Talk Back) and is ready for download! Please, tell your friends who have Android device about us and share this link:

I think the devs who made the game are not English speaking. When they refer to underwear, it simply means what you would normally put on a baby while he/she is still inside the house. It seems like the outer wear is more like a coat, sweater, or something else to keep the baby warm while you are taking it outside. Of course, I could be wrong, but that's my impression.

By TamagotchiTune on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

Hmmm yeah because I put on the pumpkin suit and then 1 of the dresses and all my friend saw when she looked was the dress.

By Paige on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

So I do what you do Vulcansummer i use underwear inside and outerwear when I take her for a walk. And I remember Ornella saying something on a previous post about when you put on a new piece of clothing it takes off the other one so I think you are just suppose to put on the pumpkin suit because if you put on a dress then it removes the pumpkin suit.

By Ornella on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

I don't know why they named that under-wear to begin with. All the clothing in the under-wear section is to be worn at home. If you put on one of the outfits and take the baby out the comfort level will go down. All the clothing in the outer-wear is to take the baby to the different locations. I remember listening to the podcast and the person had put on 1 of the under and 1 of the outer-wear and they thought that they probably had the baby in 2 different pieces of clothing. Well if you put on a pink 1 piece and then you go to the outer-wear section and put on a coat then the pink 1 piece will come off and be replaced by the coat. So all the outfits are 1 piece clothing. I haven't had a baby boy yet. When I'm done buying all the clothing for the girl then I will have the boy.

By TamagotchiTune on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

Haha I guess that would make since. Dresses and stuff for going out and the underwear for relaxing at home. Always thought the marine suit was some pajama clothing or something.

By Ornella on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

The mommy's body suit is a jumper. I forgot to ask the colour. I was thinking that they could put baby booties and maybe different hats.

By TamagotchiTune on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

We have so many ideas. We need cute shoes 2. I love to feel them on the babys feet lol they are so small and cute on the baby!

By Ornella on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

I was going to suggest hair acesseries like bow clips but the baby doesn't have much hair on their head.

By vulcansummer on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

After having fed, changed and played with my baby, I got a message saying my baby was sick and that I'd have to call for an ambulance or end the game. Well, since I don't have thirty credits to blow, I just ended the game. But how could my baby be sick after I had just made sure everything was all right with him? It doesn't seem right.

As far as hair accessories, the babies could wear headbands, the stretchy kind like babies wear. It doesn't matter how much hair they have then because they can simply stretch across their heads.

By Ornella on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

That's why if I left my baby long unattended I always check to see if she's sick first then if so I give her medicine before I do anything else. Sometimes the baby could be sick and if you give them 1 of the toys they may not cry but still be sick. So it could be frustrating. Some days I don't get my 3 credits like today and Thursday I only got 2. Plus they charged 7 credits for the pink dress and I had 8 and when I checked my credits I had 0. So I really don't know what going on. This game needs to be revamped and start over from scratch.

By MissThea on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

I haven't noticed that but I have noticed that the energy food and comfort sidebar gets mixed up with the actions, care, clothing toys option which should be on the bottom.
Which is a nuisance when the baby is crying, and you're looking for care, and energy is in the way.

By MissThea on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

They're ok I guess. I said I wasn't going to buy them but I did.
Ha ha ha.

I'm sorry for those who've lost saved games. I haven't noticed any such thing with my game.

By MissThea on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

I noticed I had to buy the witch costume a couple of times, I mean that I had to press buy a couple times, but it didn't cost more than the ten credits.
Rosalind is with nanny, but only for a couple hours as I'm low on credits, and graduation time is near.
I don't want to have fifty creds hanging around when the game is up.

By MissThea on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

I asked a sighted person about that, and they said it doesn't show the location. You only hear the sounds.

By MissThea on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

I never found the skeleton or dracula costume.
Are they gender specific? I got Rosalind the pumpkin suit and the witch's costume.
But I haven't checked to see if there are offerings for Maurice.

By MissThea on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

You guys are right. There are no saves whatsoever.
Maurice isn't there. Why, those sons of guns.
I graduated that game. Now there's only Rosalind and she doesn't show up.
Honestly, those darn de vs!! I spent alot of real money on Maurice.
I'm as ticked off as I've ever been with this game!

By MissThea on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

Under wear is like the onesies and things. My real time babies wore them for sleep and around the house.
The outer wear is dresses and pants and jackets or whatever you'd take them outside in.

By vulcansummer on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

Ornella Jagdeo, I have been watching him and tending to him the entire day. There has been know neglect on my part, so after I changed and fed him and played with him, him getting sick and dying just doesn't make sense to me.

MissThea, I do believe the costumes are gender specific, as I can't find the witch or pumpkin costume, only the Dracula and skeleton ones. So since I have a boy, I guess I only have access to the Dracula and skeleton costumes.I wish they could make the pumpkin suit gender neutral though.

By Ornella on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

Well earlier I said that I saw the pink dress for 7 credits and my 8 credits were gone so it looked like I got it. Now when I'm checking my balance the 8 credits are back and the pink dress cost 11 credits so I have to buy it again. Maybe for the original price. I'm supposed to have 10 credits and I only have 8 because I didn't get the extra 1 for Thursday and 1 today because I bought the pumpkin outfit. And to misthea there are different suits for the boy and girl. If your saved game is lost and you start a new game you don't have to buy over anything that was bought before.

By TamagotchiTune on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

Does the witch costume work? I've seen people say it has a bug or something.

By Ornella on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

I will probably buy it later on today and see if it works. My baby is dressed up like a pumpkin for Halloween.

By TamagotchiTune on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

Thanks. Also I read on the facebook page if you watch a full video you can earn 10 credits? Are they talking about the random ones that start playing when I'm in the game?

By Ornella on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

I didn't know that. I will try it and see if I get the full 10. Maybe its the audio videos that pop up when we are doing actions in the game.

By Ornella on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

I just bought the witch costume and its not giving any problems. I think they fixed the bugs.

By MissThea on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

Ok, this game's got too many bugs for me.
I have 0 credits, and I'm not spending any more.
But it won't let me give up.
When I went into the main menu and opted to give up, I was asked if I wanted to--well, those weren't the words, but I kept getting this "no point in giving up now, is there?" message, and I pressed on the 'yeah' button like three or four times.
I even went out of the game and back in a couple times.
No dice. Rosalind is still there.
So now it looks like I have to be a heel and let the poor thing die.
It's weird. I started out really attached to Maurice, and I cared for Rosalind, but when I saw how much real money I was spending on this virtual baby, I thought I must be mad.
Also, even after nanny's long gone, and the kid's screaming, it still asks you to dismiss the nanny and when you do, it keeps asking you. The dismiss nanny button covers up other buttons when you're trying to care for the baby.
Oh by the way, I've discovered that if I feed her before she's gone down to a certain point, say, 30, I can feed her in relative peace and quiet.
The game needs more development, and after how much I've spent, I suggest they fix bugs instead of adding clothes.
Or at least fix bugs, make the baby have happier sounds when it's reported as happy, fix bugs etc. before adding words a real baby can't say or trendy new clothes.

By MissThea on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

LOL What, may I ask, is the kitty cat suit doing in the boy's clothes?
I'm sure Maurice looked cute in it, but when he grows up, he'll sue me for making him look girlie.
I thought kitty cats were girls, and here we have a kitty suit for the boy, but not the girl.

By Ornella on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

If the app doesn't want you to quit the game delete it and reinstall. And I haven't seen the kitty-cat outfit maybe its only for boys. Or they had a colour that a boy would wear..

By TamagotchiTune on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

I bought the witch costume 2. Glad there is no bug with it.

By MissThea on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

When hiring the nanny, I decided on a nice long stretch, and pressed ok.
But when I went back into the game after the nanny was successfully hired, she wasn't there, but I'd lost credits.
So I had to hire her again.

On some other topics discussed on the forum, I've sent emails to support@mybabysim.com also wrote a review detailing the difficultires and put something on the Facebook page.
Basically, I told the devs that although the game is chockablock with cutesy clothes for the baby, they need to work on the kinds of sounds the baby makes, since we who use voice over cannot see the baby. And since touch is not an option which in real life helps tremendously with bonding, I told and reiterated the importance of a happier baby. More sweet sounds more often.
For instance, Maurice shouldn't always wake up in a grouchy mood. For one thing, it makes me grouchy. It's hard to like the kid who does nothing but cry, even when the indicators says he's happy. I'd really like to like the kid, but I find it hard. Lately, I've taken to calling him my little tyrant, and my grumpy old man.
God, how I wish those devs would do something about that. Plus I mentioned there was nothing to do with the baby at the locations. I also mentioned the baby needed to suck his thumb and do other kinds of self-entertaining things that babies can do.
This would be more realistic than a month-old saying "boo" or "mama".I told them since we cannot see the child and cannot touch him, at least could they add to the bonding factor with more cuddly sweet sounds, and take away the irritable ones? I swear I should make an audio only YouTube video, and let them hear over and over what the normal and happy sounds are like, how irritable and demanding they are, how unvaried, how harsh and unmusical. If the sighted people can't see the baby and only have sound to go on, they might realize we have a point and fix it.

By Ornella on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

I took a rest from the game because I'm not feeling well. And yes the baby does sound fussy and mad when the log states that its happy.

By vulcansummer on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

To be fair, I don't think all of the sounds are horrible. Some are quite cute.

I will agree, MissThea, that the baby needs to have more happier sounds more often. I'm still in favor of a babble mode, since as you said, we can't see the baby and how cute it is, so we need the sounds to help us bond with them.

I haven't bought anything lately, I'm afraid to after they took too many credits when I hired the nanny.
I'm sorry you've been sick, Ornella Jagdeo . I hope you feel better soon.

By MissThea on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

How has the baby been doing while you're resting? Did you hire the nanny?
I'm glad you agree that the baby's so-called happy sounds are fussy and mad.
See, I've had two kids, and I do remember that while they made those sounds, they were most certainly not happy. My baby girl was queen of adorable babble. Unfortunately, she's grown up and can't fill in. LOL
But what's making me feel irritable and detached from the kid is that the developers never seem to be on the forum, except to announce updates, and all their updates are visual.
If any of you are playing Blindfold Color Crush, notice how different the dev is. He's always on the forum, asking what we would like.

By MissThea on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

Lots of organizations from Planned Parenthood to UNICEF could be approached with the idea of sponsoring this educational game.
I'm too old and not too healthy, so playing this game without the nanny just isn't an option for me.
But shoot, I feel bad because I don't like the baby. The sounds are just too off-putting.
And I've been a parent. I had two kids close together, and they had plenty grouchy moods. But not always. Sometimes they babbled so adorably especially my daughter that I'd leak milk before I got to her crib.
But since we're lacking the hormonal and visual bonding factors ... sorry, I'm repeating myself.

By MissThea on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

Even at this age, babies have their own personalities and girls and boys have slightly different vocal ranges.
Instead of these unrealistic things like words, the game should have a different set of sounds for boys and girls.
I wish I could tell the devs: It's not all about sight and cutesy clothes.

By MissThea on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

Yes I've burped baby many times.
I think those of us who have been parents should really go after the devs to make the game both more realistic and more palatable, as far as bonding with the baby goes.

By MissThea on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

You can alternate between babies, but I don't recommend it. LOL
Not if you want any sleep.
The way they have the game, one is too many. Hahaha.
Plus, the babies don't have much personality like they do in real life, which is a disappointment to me.

By MissThea on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

Absolutely the kid needs a swing, and to suck its thumb.
And if I hear that ridiculous "Oh a pacciffie" bit every time I give him a pacifier, I'm going to choke.
Honestly, what baby can think the word 'pacifier', even in baby talk, which Voice Over makes sound like some Italian word. I'd rather just hear him sucking on the soother.

By vulcansummer on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

When the baby says "freedom of speech" or something to that effect, does anyone know what it's referring to?

Also, I completely agree about the girl and boy babies having different sounds.

I wish the devs would come on here more often to ask us what we would like to see in the game. That would be nice.

By Ornella on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

I didn't hire the nanny. I'm getting better so when I am fully well I will make another game if I feel like it. About some of the log entries. That's not the baby saying those things its probably what we think the baby will think. So when you see Oh a pasifier That's a notification letting us know that the pacifier is in the baby's mouth. And when we see freedom of speech that means that the baby spits out the pacifier. So the babies aren't really saying those things. And I do agree babies from 1 to 4 months old don't say hi or mama so that should definetly be replaced. Every time they do an update I always think that its major but its just a little toy or clothing. We want things to do. We want the baby to move for themselves a little. At least something to do when the baby is sleeping.

By treky fan on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

Over the holidays, I will not have much if any internet access. Is it possible to play the game offline? What I mean is can I create a new baby and take care of it if I'm not online?

By Sabrina on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

Hello. I love this game. Little Candice is doing well. If I could buy stuff on my phone I deffinittely would buy credits to support developement. I think I am playing in advanced mode but am not sure. It is really adictive. The only problem I have found is that notifications have a tendensy not to show up but usually it does so that is okay. I kind of failed with Cynthia. I wish there was a way to see past babies. Thanks for an awesome app!

By Ornella on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 11:12

I think you will still be able to play but I'm not sure if you will get the notifications. And to Sabrina, that happens to a lot of us. The notifications shows up when it wants to. When the baby poops then I get the notification but I don't get one when it says diaper doesn't look very fresh. They need to fix a lot of things and do a major update for this game.

By Sabrina on Friday, December 23, 2016 - 11:12

My comfort indicator has magically vanished and I cannot get it back!

By Ornella on Friday, December 23, 2016 - 11:12

I haven't played this game in a while but since they did the update I have no problems with it really. If you can't see the comfort level check the log to see if the baby is okay so you will know what to do. Or write the devs on facebook and tell them about it. I never had that happen to me before.

By treky fan on Friday, December 23, 2016 - 11:12

In reply to by Sabrina

Hi, this happened to me a few weeks go, but there is an easy fix. Go in to your app switcher, totally close the app out, and reopen the app.

By MissThea on Friday, December 23, 2016 - 11:12

Hi, to the devs.
I'm writing you here, because my computer won't interact with your page on Facebook.
I like the concept of My Baby Sim quite a lot. It's altogether different from the adrenaline rush of fighting monsters, or the more cerebral puzzle or word games.
I've been looking for something soft and feminine for years, and here it is.
One problem, though: I can't play the game the way it is as I have too many health issues. Others have cited school and college and work.
Even though it's only for 17 days it's a lot to ask, to care for a virtual baby night and day.
Yes I know your purpose, to educate prospective parents.
However, I'd like to suggest, and more than suggest, that many kinds of people play My Baby Sim, and no matter the purpose, it is only a game.
I had to give it a very low rating on the iTunes store because it is intrusive and also because the sounds the baby makes even when happy are fussy and irritable.
Since your totally blind players can't see the clothes, and since the normal hormonal changes accompanying caring for a newborn aren't kicking in, I suggest you offer a Baby Sim Lite. In this game, you can pause action while you work, go to school or in my case, hospital, or sometimes I'm not feeling well enough to care for a baby 24/7.
In either game, there needs to be happier sounds for those of us who cannot rely on a cute visual. And what will make us happy won't hurt your sighted players.
Finally, we need things to do with the baby. Someone has mentioned a wind up toy. How about a baby swing? Right now, there is nothing to do with the baby, even at the locations.
I have spent real money on a virtual nanny to look after a non-real baby, and I do mean real money.
As the game is, I would not recommend it. But, like I said, the concept is neat. It's more emotional than other games. People do get attached to the baby. I do like that this game goes for the heart rather than the mind. How many games do that?
I look forward to playing a game more suited to my needs.

By Ornella on Friday, December 23, 2016 - 11:12

I haven't played this game for weeks because I'm busy and I'm loozing out on sleep when ever I play. But we should be able to do more things with the baby. I will never play in advance mode because I don't have time to heat up the bottle every few seconds. Its much faster feeding her water.

By MissThea on Friday, December 23, 2016 - 11:12

Like VulcanSummer says, I don't like advanced mode either.
Further, I will not play this game again until I see a change in the responsiveness of game devs.
I know some of you guys play the Blindfold games, such as Color Crush, Horse Race, or the word games.
A couple weeks ago, the dev was on that forum asking for suggestions about improvements. I suggested three ideas for Color Crush.
A few days later, there was an update, and all three ideas had been implemented! I was freaked out happy.
Not just because he'd done the hard work required to create the three gem packs I suggested, but even if he hadn't, I really like that he's on the forum.
I haven't messed with the child-care games much, either Little Girl Magic or My Baby Sim.
While My Baby Sim has month-old babies saying things they can't possibly say, Little Girl Magic has a seven-year-old who can't talk, and who can't get a cherry yogurt out of the fridge.
I think most seven-year-olds can speak and get things out of the fridge for a snack. These child-care games, I think, are a neat concept but they both need serious revision: back to the drawingboard.

By Paige on Friday, December 23, 2016 - 11:12

I had the same frustration as you with the devs not listening. However, even though they weren't necesarily responding, they were listening. They have come out with another game, MyBabySim 2, and many of our suggestions have been implemented.

By MissThea on Friday, December 23, 2016 - 11:12

Hmm. That's great to know that the devs are listening. I must give this Baby Sim 2 a look. I really do think the concept is neat.
Thanks for letting me know about this.
