How does this differ from the build-in virtual keyboard, specifically for Voiceover users?
The difference between the…
The difference between the SwiftKey Keyboard and the built-in keyboard is that the SwiftKey Keyboard has lots of themes than the iOS keyboard. On the SwiftKey keyboard there isn't really much of a difference for VoiceOver users. Just like on the iOS keyboard, you can use the other typing options such as: direct touch typing and touch typing. Both of the keyboards can also give you word predictions.
When using more than one
When using more than one language,a long press or 3d press is required to switch language. This results in a space or letter being entered every time you switch when using VO.
How do you use direct touch
How do you use direct touch typing with this keyboard? I've only seen the option to use regular touch typing.
Predictions bar
Just downloaded this and while voiceover announces the "top predictions" I couldn't figure out where the prediction bar was located by tapping around near the keyboard. When I clicked on a prediction, nothing changed. Am I missing something?
On an unrelated note, are the Swift predictions better than the iOS predictions? I've been typing with the iOS keyboard for a while and it still doesn't accurately predict what I want to say most of the time.
Direct touch
Has anyone managed to get direct touch typing to work with this app?
