Text editor with searching and Dropbox integration?

I've been using Plain Text as a simple text editor with Dropbox integration, but I don't know how to search for a specific text string in whatever file I have open. Is there a way? If not, do any of you know of another accessible text editor with a search feature and Dropbox integration? I don't require a fancy word processor with all the bells and whistles, 99.99% of which I'll never use. Just a simple text editor. Thanks.

Hello, Again, just like the last comment, I don't know if you can use a "search" function with the application, but note master has worked very well for me. I like the fact that you can load to drop box and on a PC, you can load your .txt document as a .docs document on the PC. Hope that this helps.

Hello, You might want to try Notesy for Dropbox. It syncs with your dropbox account, the notes are written in txt format, and it has voiceover support. I believe it allows for searching as well. The neat thing is that you can put your notes in folders to keep them organized. All it is is your notes, being synced to dropbox. It works amazingly well with voiceover. Hope that helps.

Let me try to explain what I want this program to do. I'm not really talking about little notes. I want to be able to load a text file, preferably from Dropbox, of any size. Then search for a particular string within that file. The VO Find function isn't doing the trick for some reason. If that worked, there would be no problem. My files are things like a list of phone numbers, a list of addresses, a file of dates things happened like haircuts, item purchases, battery replacements, etc. A list of music in our collection, and the playlist number associated with each album. You get the idea. What I want to be able to do is open any one of these files and search for something specific within it. E.G. open up the Dates file and search for "talking watch" or open up the music file and search for "Weird Al." If editing is necessary, modify the file and save/exit. All these files are in plain text .txt format. I realize that for a lot of this stuff there are probably iOS-specific apps to do it, but these files have been around for years on all our computers, first running DOS, then Windows, and we edit them all the time, and maintain them, on our computers.
