Hello all,
I am currently trying to sell an old iPhone of mine to the Apple renew website. I have tried using this site with both iOs and Mac Os with Voiceover on each and have encountered several problems. On iOs, I can get through the first page where it asks what device I have and sends me through the inspection questions. I can double tap to the next page where I am asked to enter my device's serial number. Once I validate the serial number, I am able to access the point where I enter my contact information, but nothing after that. It appears as though there are supposed to be buttons listing final checks I need to perform on the device I am sending. As I can't access these buttons, I am unable to continue to the next page. On the mac, I can't even get further than selecting the device and capacity. No, I can't even answer the inspection questions. Yes, I am using Safari on Mac Os and iOs. Are there settings I need to change, or is there an alternative method to completing this process? I'm sorry this is so lengthy. All help is appreciated greatly!

Have you tried under windows, used google chrome etc? also have you contacted feedback.apple.com and apple accessibility?

Yes. I reported this issue to the Apple accessibility team. Unfortunately, I don't have a windows machine to work with. Thank you for the suggestions though. h

You may not have a Windows PC. to use, but have you just tried putting Chrome on your Mac. If you haven't tried that, I'm suggesting that you do.

Also, for your phone. I'm going to suggest something similar. Do you use the Google Search app? If not, it's free & accessible, so I'd download it. Once you download it, I'd type the web site in, & do what you need to do there. You can browse through web sites & enter information into search fields as if you were on Safaari. You can even navigate by links & other headings as if you were in Safaari. This 2nd solution may seem a little counter-intuitive, but believe me, I've used this before a few times when I couldn't work first work Safaari, and various other times.

Hope this has helped & good luck to you.

Thank you for these great suggestions. I'm going to give them a try. One more thing: is it true that VO and chrome don't work well together, supplying the need for chromevox, or is that just with the google suite of products; docs, sheets, etc?

I can now use chrome very well with voiceover. No need for chromevox. At least for me.

If you're talking about Chrome fore the ios. device, I'm noj sure. But there is an entry in the ios directory on here about Chrome. I don't use ij because I haven't found a need, but I use the Google Search app, which I find suits my needs in places whre Safaari doein't or does but not ver? well. I can't say anything about Chrome on Mac. Honestly, I'd just install it on your iphone if Google iearch app doesn't work & try. It can't hurt.
