Hello,

My name is Amelia Keller and I am a Masters Student in Human Computer Interaction at Rochester Institute of Technology. I am conducting a research study to understand blind and low vision people’s experience with emojis on their mobile device. I am looking to recruit participants who are ages 18+, identify as blind or low vision, and have either used, have tried to use, and/or encountered emojis on mobile devices.

Participation will include a phone interview that will last no longer than 30 minutes.

Participation will be voluntary and there will be no compensation.

If you or anyone you know would like to participate, please contact Amelia Keller at ajk6684@g.rit.edu or call at (646) 265-4722.

Thank you,

Amelia Keller

Hi,

I'd be happy to explain more about it! I am interested in understanding how blind and low vision people use and interpret emojis. If you have any specific questions or would like to participate, feel free to give me a call at 6462654722.

I could participate, but not sure what I'd be doing. You see with iDevices, emojis are spoken to users. I don't know about other platforms such as Android though for I haven't used Android for a while.
