Accessibility Comments

While the first couple of screens are pretty accessible, when you go to check into a place to earn "kicks," the buttons are all unlabeled. This is also true when it comes to finding the scanner button if you are within a business where you can earn "kicks" for making a purchase. I was also not able to see whether or not my check-ins were being counted as the app did not read any changes made to my account.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads a few page elements.

Button Labeling

Few buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

Some parts of the app are accessible with VoiceOver, but not enough to make it usable.

Other Comments

The concept behind this app is quite clever, as your check-ins earn you points that you can actually redeem for more than bragging rights. However, due to the inaccessible nature of the app, it is not ready for the voiceover community. Perhaps if they had a platform which combined the coding Foursquare uses for check-ins, with the barcode scanner found in many accessible apps such as Starbucks used when paying, this could be useful.

Any accessibility changes in the latest app? I don't have an account with these guys but I did download the app a few years ago apparently.
