Hi, guys.
We would like to tell you about the great application for future parents that supports Voice Over. (iPhone and iPad compatible) - MyBabySim.
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/my-baby-sim/id642371875?mt=8
My Baby Sim is a real baby behavior simulator that allows users to try themselves as parents of a newborn.
Try it and you`ll learn how to take care about a baby – change diapers, play, feed or stop your baby from crying. You can get all basic knowledge about parenthood and first three months of infant`s life from our app.
My Baby Sim analyzes how good you are as a parent, storing all data in a log. Compare your progress with recommendations to test yourself. There is also an ability to share your experience within the community and ask for advice both from baby care experts and from the other community members.
We would be grateful for your feedback and impressions about the game. We would also appreciate an information about any bugs or errors (hope you`ll not face them), and we’ll do our best to fix them.
Follow us on Twitter https://twitter.com/MyBabySim (@MyBabySim) and join our community!

My Baby Sim is now available for Android! It works with Voice Assistant (Talk Back) and is ready for download! Please, tell your friends who have Android device about us and share this link:

O for shame. His daddy would never forgive me. LOL
So I'll milk that time-frozen nanny for all she's worth, then dismiss her, and play with my son.
I've started with Rosalind. I actually didn't know you could delete games. Sorry, I can't say "delete babies". Haha.

By Ornella on Sunday, October 23, 2016 - 10:27

I actually kept mines until she was 6 months then I made a new one.

By Ornella on Sunday, October 23, 2016 - 10:27

I think there's a problem with the videos. I haven't gotten any credits yesterday and only like 2 for sunday and Monday.

By Paige on Sunday, October 23, 2016 - 10:27

Wow, you're good! I keep having to go back to my previous save because Anastasia dies while I'm sleeping or at school, (so sad), but she's almost three months so I'm getting there. How old is Rosalind?

By MissThea on Sunday, October 23, 2016 - 10:27

While little Maurice sleeps till kissed by the beautiful princess--LOL--I'm taking care of Rosalind.
She is five weeks old now. I just bought her some new clothes, like I did for Maurice.
I bought her all the outer and underwear. It wasn't that much.
I'm going to try to use the nanny less. I felt like a fraud kind of when I won the game while not caring for my baby personally.
Silly, I know.
I wish Maurice and Rosalind cound interact. For instance, I'd like to be able to take them both to the park.
And I agree with you folks who say there should be more for the baby to do. At least there should be a baby swing in the park, if not in the home. I mean, there's nothing to do with the wee tykes, is there?

By MissThea on Sunday, October 23, 2016 - 10:27

I haven't noticed anything wrong with earning credits. What happens when you let the video play?

Now, my debits: I was all set to be a good mom to Rosalind, but it's been nothing but trouble all day. I saved her progress, so she's six weeks old now I guess. Then I ran to the can, forgetting to close the ap. While there, she woke up and started bawling.
OMG is that all these babies can do?
If I hadn't been a parent in real time, this game would for sure decide me against it.
I almost gave it up ten times today.
At least with the real thing, there are endorphin rushes: warm fuzzies brought on by oxytocin, esp. if you're nursing, that puts a softness over some of it. And I remember how my own daughter used to play in her crib or suck her thumb.
But when you're sitting on the john for twenty minutes, and the baby wakes up, she doesn't chortle or suck her thumb. She bawls in the most unattractive, demanding way. It's a good thing she couldn't hear me; I was using most un-motherly language.
I had high hopes, but I'm going to either use nanny a lot again, or give it up as a bad job.
Like I said, my real babies did cry and fuss, but that's not all they do.
But these virtual babies are turning out rotten little brats.
Sure, there are things we can do to help them be happy, both in the game and in real time. But they do learn to amuse themselves, and they do respond to your voice, at least sometimes.
But the virtual? All this little (*&^*&^ ever does is cry like I owe her a living right now, or fuss irritably.I give the *** up.!

By Ornella on Sunday, October 23, 2016 - 10:27

when I tap on earn credits I get a message stating that add hasn't been loaded yet. I closed the app from the app switcher and then I tried to listen again and I get the same message. I deleted it and reopened it and still nothing. I had to go out today so I just quit the game and not sure when I will make a new game. This weekend might be busy for me.

By vulcansummer on Sunday, October 23, 2016 - 10:27

A few days ago, I had problems getting the credits as well. It said the video wasn't uploaded, and to try back later.

Also, I Emailed the devs on Monday, asking if they might be able to refund some of the credits that were used on the nanny, and which I didn't get the full time for.
I still haven't heard back from them.
I said it might be a voiceover issue, but that I wasn't certain, and could they look into fixing it.
we'll see if anything happens.

By MissThea on Sunday, October 23, 2016 - 10:27

I got that message a few times about the ad not being loaded, but it seems to have cleared up.
About the nanny: If you press the increment button, or even if you press 'hire for 3 hours', the buttons seem to be messed up.
You press the higher number button, but you get the lower amount of time.
They need to fix that, among other things.

By vulcansummer on Sunday, October 23, 2016 - 10:27

That's exactly what happened to me when I hired the nanny, and it took the proper amount of credits, but only gave me three hours of nanny time.
I'm not going to play the game until this issue is fixed, because I do need to sleep at night, and if I don't hire the nanny at night, I don't want to wake up to a very sick baby who can't be saved, and feel bad.

By Ornella on Sunday, October 23, 2016 - 10:27

If you have to sleep you have too. I always say to my self that this is a game so what ever message I get I won't feel bad. I have suggested to them many times that there should be a pause button. And as usual they said you can't pause a baby in real life. And if I had to compare this game to the baby alive dolls or the real care babies I think those might be worse. Because they said they programmed it using the diaries that parents kept. And I was like okay those babies must be annoying.

By MissThea on Sunday, October 23, 2016 - 10:27

I realize this is supposed to be an educational game, and it presents as realistic as possible the frequency of baby care as possible.
But the devs need to not forget this is a game. Not just as they call it a game, but for real, they need to remember it's a game.
And another thing: There needs to be portrayed more realistically the loving aspect of parenthood. I mean, all the baby ever does is fuss and cry, and that's not realistic, either.
They laugh and gurgle and make adorable sounds as well to get you to play with them.
As it is, I don't want to care for this baby any more. All she ever does is cry, and it ticks me off that while I'm having to keep hitting the 'feed' button, she continues to cry, even while she's supposed to be drinking milk.
Same with Maurice. Fuss and cry.
I'm getting so sick of it, I feel like just deleting the whole game. Except, I can't. The baby's too real, and I feel responsible for it.
Am I crazy, or are you guys feeling the same way?

By MissThea on Sunday, October 23, 2016 - 10:27

If this game dealt with nonhuman things like monsters, or inanimate word puzzles ... if I got ticked off or felt I couldn't continue, I would delete it. But this is a baby, and even though my head knows it's not real, and no baby would be harmed if I just deleted the game from my iPhone, I know I'd feel bad. This type of game gets at the heart, which is what I wanted. Only I wanted something different from a baby that fusses and cries all the time.

By MissThea on Sunday, October 23, 2016 - 10:27

If I finish the game with Rosalind, I'll get the message that I was a good parent for her.
But if the devs heard the language I used for her crying and fussing and just baby from Hell behavior, they would call child protective services.
I don't want this baby. I don't want to play with her or take her anywhere.
Not only because there's nothing to do, but there's no way that you can feel the love from the baby. It's a never-ending feed me, change me, and I'll cry bitterly till you tickle me, and even then, I'll fuss at you.
Who could care for a baby like that?
If they want to make it realistic, they need to add the cute sounds a baby makes. For instance, Rosalind woke up crying bitterly and I was on the can.
By the time I got where my phone was, I was a spitting, swearing maniac who would have been reported if it were a real baby.
So they need to add a helper, or a partner as well--someone who helps you look after the kid. They need to add different sounds: happy sounds.
My real time daughter Amanda, sometimes woke up grouchy and needy, but not always. Sometimes she woke up and she was quiet, or babbled to herself. And I had maternal feelings for her because of that.
If she'd behaved like this game baby behaves, I would have gone insane.

By Ornella on Sunday, October 23, 2016 - 10:27

Yes I agree with you. There's nothing to do at the park or any other locations. I only like the very happy sound and when you tickle the baby. I like that giggle. But we need better sounds and different bottle sounds. This is only a game and should only be treated as such. The nanny cost 3 credits an hour. If we only earn 3 credits a day we would have to save up a lot to hire the nanny and it would take forever. Little kids play this game. They can't afford to buy credits all the time. I'm not saying that everything should be free. But there are lots of sponcers I'm sure who would be willing to help.

By vulcansummer on Sunday, October 23, 2016 - 10:27

You're not the only one who feels bad about deleting the game. As I said before, I got so attached to William, and it really made me feel sad when he got so sick and died.
The game is causing me so much stress now I've stopped playing.
Maybe the devs could have a babble mode. When you put the baby in babble mode, it makes happy sounds for a long while.
I know this isn't realistic to having a baby, but neither is fast forwarding, and the crying the baby does, even when you start feeding it.

By MissThea on Sunday, October 23, 2016 - 10:27

I think we should go on iTunes or whichever is easiest, write the devs, or rate them on the ap store, with our concerns.
I myself have put quite a bit on my credit card to hire the nanny.Mostly because I find the baby unpleasant, as I've mentioned in previous posts. But also because I need my sleep.
They're forgetting all the perks of having a normal, healthy baby: You're usually with a partner or family and friends help out, for free. Babies aren't always annoying, don't always wake up grouchy, and once a bottle is shoved in that hungry maw, it shuts up. I didn't think little kids played this type of game. But I guess a kid will try anything, and I guess this is a few giant leaps above the traditional doll. OK, I must be tired, I'm repeating myself.

By MissThea on Sunday, October 23, 2016 - 10:27

Right, right; you're bloody well right.
Ya know ya got a bloody right to say ...

When I started with Maurice, this was my first time with the game. I was stoked.
But I find I'm fairly stressed myself. I've spent real money on a fake nanny for a fake baby.
It's beginning to get ridiculous.
And like I said, babies do babble. Another thing not realistic about this game is the fact that five-month-olds can't say 'hi' or 'mama', but they vocalize differently from one-month-olds.
That isn't realistic. So if they want to cite realism as a reason they can't put the game on pause, we have lots of answers for that.
Heck, even Little Girl magic isn't always crying for my attention. It's a game, and they treat it so.
The best education for having a baby is to do a lot of baby sitting, volunteer at your place of worship for the nursery, or whatever. Human babies are way more complex than any game can be. But if they're going for unrealistic, why not add the happier sounds?
You see, our emotions don't know the difference between reality and fantasy. That's why you got attached to William, and why I got attached to Maurice. Add my own little back story, and I was doubly hooked, because there was a daddy involved--someone I've loved for most of my life. Someone who recently died.
Anyway, I think it's time to rate this game on the ap store or write the devs.
Once Rosalind has reached five months and the game is done, I will not play this game again.
It is too intrusive, and though it sounds neat at the start, I'm simply not able to keep it up for 24 hours of 17 days.
I'll probabaly put more money on the nanny. Do you know that when I am dealing with Rosalind and she is crying like a banshee, the moment that nanny is hired, she starts burbling happily--well as happily as this game allows.
I don't hear anyone changing or feeding her. She's just all of a sudden happy. Yeah, I have a few choice words for the nanny, too. She's hired, and Rosalind puts on the sugar. But for me? No chance.
Now that can be realistic, but not at such a young age. I remember when Amanda would be excited when I walked into the room. I have some happy memories of looking after real babies.
One more thing: Why doesn't the kid burble when you kiss it or hold it in your arms? Hmm? The kissing and moving sounds aren't enough. The kiss and cuddle features should net you some love back. They do in real life.

By TamagotchiTune on Sunday, October 23, 2016 - 10:27

Has anyone noticed the give a toy option sometimes disappears? I can understand it going away because the baby is asleep but after I gave the baby the raddle shouldn't that option come back? Because the baby has the raddle and not the other toy. Just something weird I've noticed.

By Ornella on Sunday, October 23, 2016 - 10:27

Again I agree with you misthea. I already wrote them on the app store. And the option to give a toy disappears when the baby is asleep and we can't shake the rattle either because it will wake up the baby. When we take the baby out the option to give a toy disappears as well. So you would have to give 1 of the toys before you take her out. The baby doesn't hold the rabbit so if you tap on it and then you take her out I'm not sure if it will still be visible. I'm tired of writing these people on facebook with ideas and suggestions and like every time they update its not major. So I my self haven't made another game as yet. The thing that bugs me really is that all the time you're checking if the baby is okay and she doesn't need anything but as you get up to go and do something then the crying starts.

By MissThea on Sunday, October 23, 2016 - 10:27

They always ask me to rate the ap. But when I write my review and fill in the form, they always tell me my nickname is taken. Then I have to try the process from scratch.
I have several pain conditions, so by the 2nd time comes around I'm not willing to or able to keep going round and round with it.
I used dictation to write my review, but I get the same merry go round process.
I don't like merry go rounds. So I quit trying to rate them.
But if I did write a review, I'd say, "if you have any kind of life, I don't recommend this ap, as it is intrusive".
I'd give it maybe a 3 star rating.

By Ornella on Sunday, October 23, 2016 - 10:27

they did that to me so I just made up a user name and put a few numbers next to it and I got to use it to do my rading. But once you got through with a user name to rate the app you don't have to change it again. I did give them a 5 star rating because at first it was really good. If it gets worse then I will send it down.

By Paige on Sunday, October 23, 2016 - 10:27

I already rated with 5 stars.

By treky fan on Sunday, October 23, 2016 - 10:27

I'm thinking of starting a game in training mode to save on credits. If I don't hire a nanny at night, which is when I use her because I always wake up with a sick baby or a game over message. My question is, if I play in training mode and don't wake up to take care of the baby, will it stay alive longer in training mode?

By Ornella on Sunday, October 23, 2016 - 10:27

Yes it will but you have to set the baby's age to 4 months.

By MissThea on Sunday, October 23, 2016 - 10:27

Hi. I guess this isn't my kind of game in the long run.
I not only dislike the things I've mentioned, but I don't want to be a slave to any game.
I'm not dissin' the game really. It's just not my thing. I really liked it at the start, but given all the things I've mentioned that I disliked, I'm spending my last credits on nanny, because the last time I tried to take care of Rosalind, first her comfort level was 100 after I changed her diaper, all the while's she's crying like anything, then I'm feeding her and she's crying hard, and it just kind of ticked me off to hear the message come up saying she's happy. So why all the blattin'?I know my mom never had patience for cry babies. And I guess I just don't want to spend any more real money on a fake nanny to care for a fake baby.
So once all my credits are spent on nanny, the next time the notifications prompt me that my attention is needed, I'm just going to give it up.
I shouldn't really be spending the kind of money I have on this type of thing, anyway.
The iTunes description of the ap makes it sound way more adorable and fun than it really is. While the baby coos the second nanny gets there, it screams at me, and I don't care for it.

By MissThea on Sunday, October 23, 2016 - 10:27

I tried my computer to rate it, but I didn't find the rating page.
I might rate the game a few days after I've quit. I might be more objective then.

By TamagotchiTune on Sunday, October 23, 2016 - 10:27

My baby made 5 months today!!! Besides not being able to earn as much credits I need I'm slowly getting up there and I still like this game. Going to take a brake before I start a new baby though.

By Ornella on Sunday, October 23, 2016 - 10:27

To misthea. If the baby is still crying after you feed and clean her check if she's sick. If she isn't give her a toy or pick her up. You have to get her to be very happy so she wouldn't cry. To MsHollyWeezy. Congratulations on completing the game. I'm definetly taking a little break from. I'm not feeling so well these days. But I think they posted something on facebook that there's something In the game coming up for haloween. So there might be an update of some sort.

By MissThea on Sunday, October 23, 2016 - 10:27

Congrats, mazel tov and all those other 'well done' things on finishing the game.
It's hard to be at a baby's beck and call, even a virtual one.
Way to go.
And good for you, for taking a break. I should have taken a much longer break than I did.

By MissThea on Sunday, October 23, 2016 - 10:27

Well, after all my bitching, I finally had a good time with Rosalind.
Her crying still got on my nerves, and there's a definite bug in the game. I bathed her after taking off the diaper and all; I fed her, and she wouldn't respond to tickling or anything else. Her comfort level registered at 0, and I'm like, What? I changed her and fed her.
So I had to take the new diaper off and redo the whole process as if I'd never done it in the first place, while Rosalind was crying loud.
But I got her fed and changed, and put her in a white one-piece and her lemon dress, and we went to the garden. That's my favorite place. I took Maurice there a lot.
Then TRoz and I came home, watched cartoons (that is, I earned my 3 credits), and she fell asleep after I played with her and cuddled her.
Of course, it doesn't hurt that, as a pain patient, I am allowed very strong pain meds. I find myself feeling quite good. My pain is relieved, and I feel really good. It's a side benefit from the medication I take.
Still, it was neat. I even found myself apologizing to Rosalind for being such a witch. (I find I'm repeating the same patterns, both good and bad, with my virtual baby that I did with my real kids).
Rosalind's sleeping now to the sounds of the Beachboys. I sang to her, and even though she can't hear it, which I hope will be changed somehow, I feel very loving and good.
I don't plan to give up. I think it's important, even in a game, to stick it out when things are tough or unpleasant. Ok, I'm a little euphoric from the meds, a little warm and fuzzy. Still, I think it's a good principle.
Mummy loves you Rosalind.

By TamagotchiTune on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 10:27

Hi anyone else noticed that with the new update VO doesn't read the saved baby? It's like nothing was there but I have a saved baby but don't see it.

By treky fan on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 10:27

In reply to by TamagotchiTune

I've noticed this bug as well. My baby, Riley, was just over a month and two weeks, and now I have to restart because of that bug.

By vulcansummer on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 10:27

I too had a saved game, but realized it wasn't there upon updating the app.
What do you guys think of the Halloween outfits?

By treky fan on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 10:27

I like the pumpkin soup, but there is a problem with the witch costume. Whenever you purchase it, the app behaves like you haven't bought it.

By TamagotchiTune on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 10:27

Started a new game since my save isn't there anymore. I haven't bought the costum yet because of the bug but i bought the pumpkin suit. I love the say boo feature lol its cute!! Question for those that can see the game. When you go to a location does it show the background of that location like the background of a lake or a playground and the baby?

By vulcansummer on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 10:27

Yes, when you go to the garden, it shows some birds and flowers, and I assume it's like that for every location you visit.

A strange thing though, I can't find the pumpkin suit, or the witch's costume. All I've found is the skeleton body suit and the Dracula costume. Wonder why this is.

By TamagotchiTune on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 10:27

Thanks for the discription. Dracula? Hmmm i don't have that. Maybe it depends on if you have a boy or girl.

By Ornella on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 10:27

Everytime the app updates something is always broken. I can't get to massage my baby's tummy anymore. I would put my finger on the screen and hear a click then I would hold and gently move my finger left to right then I would check the log to see if there's an entry and nothing. Normally it would say thank you I'm feeling great. I only bought the pumpkin costume so far. The boo feature is really cute.

By Paige on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 10:27

I don't know if this was intentional, but I noticed the stats have been rearranged; it use to be food, energy, comfort. Now it's energy, comfort, food. Also, there aare lots and lots of new bugs; like when I want to buy the pumpkin costume I can only see the witch costume and I have to exit and re-open the app; doable but not very reliable.

By TamagotchiTune on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 10:27

Be nice if these bugs were fixed before halloween since this update is a halloween update.

By Ornella on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 10:27

I didn't have that bug but the app still crashes if I'm in a hurry to get past the log. Since they like to rearrange things so much why didn't they put the log as the last menu item in the game. I told them this many times and nothing has been done about it. I'm still not able to massage my baby's tummy.

By Ornella on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 10:27

I showed my mom the costumes and she said that they both look very pretty. For the pumpkin outfit she said that the baby's tummy is fat like a pumpkin and she has on a hat or a hoody with a leaf at the top like a jackalantern head. For the witch costume she has on a skirt with a hat. I kind of forgot most of what she told me but that's the best that I could do.

By TamagotchiTune on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 10:27

Thank you for the discription. I usually just imagine what the clothes look like. Does the witch costum still have bugs? I really wanted to get it but I won't until it's fixed and working right.

By vulcansummer on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 10:27

Hi, everyone,
Does anyone have a boy baby? I think the costumes might be different depending on which gender your baby is, since I didn't see the witch or pumpkin costume. So I was just curious if anyone had a boy, and if they're seeing the same costumes as I am? Also, why can't they make the pumpkin costume a gender neutral one.

By Ornella on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 10:27

I didn't buy the witch costume yet but if you tap on it you could see like her wearing it and if you come out of it it would show what she had on previously. So you could preview it before you buy it to see if you like it or not. And I don't have a baby boy. the boy's costumes are different to the girl's. And I think the girl and boy has the same bunny costume. My mom said it looks really nice. When you put it on the baby looks like a bunny with the ears and I thik its furry.

By TamagotchiTune on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 10:27

I don't have a baby boy yet. What costumes do the boys have?

By TamagotchiTune on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 10:27

I'll probably buy the bunny costume close to easter. I'm trying to save up credits and get to 100 but with all the new clothes or toys or features that's kind of hard. I had 74 at the most until I bought the pumpkin suit.

By vulcansummer on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 10:27

The boys outfits are a skeleton body suit and a Dracula costume.

By TamagotchiTune on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 - 10:27

That sounds like cute costumes for the boys. Weird question but what is the underwear for? The way I've always known a baby to be dressed is a diapor and the outfit. And some cute shoes and a jacket if there's cold weather. So If i put the diaper on and the pumpkin suit and a dress that's how you dress the baby in the game?
