Characters being repeated when using a Bluetooth keyboard

Good day, I am using a Astrum Bluetooth keyboard on the Iphone 6S with Ios10? Since upgrading from Ios9 it repeats every character 3 times? After restarting the phone things are normal until the next Bluetooth session? Can this be resolved?
Instead of messing with Bluetooth or restarting your phone, have you tried turning Voiceover off and then back on again with the home button, or if you have an equivalent button on your keyboard?
That was always the fix with iOS 9 and earlier, with my Logitech Keys-to-Go keyboard. I haven't experienced this problem with iOS 10 yet.
