Does anyone else find that when in reading-all mode in text, that they are not read as they would be spoken? For instance, can't is read as can tee and it's is read as it ess.
I called Apple Accessibility support, and they found this was a bug. They forwarded the suggestion to change this on to IOS troubleshooting. They also suggested if I knew anyone else who was having this problem to call in so that there would be an increased number of reports of this bug. So I am asking others on this forum to please do so. Thanks for your support and for sharing your time.

Might need more information
I am not having this issue when I go to this thread in IOS Safari on an iPhone 6 with 10.02 and read the page with the double finger swipe down. I also created a document in Pages with several contractions and am not having the issue there. I use the default Samantha voice.
Correction: I have a iPhone 6 rather than 5 and edited this post to clarify. Sorry about that.
Are these the gestures and situations you are referring to?
If so, then at least we know not everyone has the bug in all situations etc.
Yes, you understood correctly
Yes, you understood correctly. I , too, am using Samantha enhanced. Good that you are not plagued with the issue but for those who are, they might like to pass it on to Apple tech as I suggested.
not just you
It's not just you. I'm having this issue to. But what's funny is that when I re-read the text before I post it or send it or whatever, it says them just fine. It's not justs the t's. It'll do it to the d's & s's also.
What device is this issue on?
Hi. Forgive me if i miss read this, it's wicked late. Anyway soemone said they don't have this on an iPhone five. but maybe a newer device the issue shows up? Hope they do get it fixed.
Yes, Dawn, it is ALL
Yes, Dawn, it is ALL contractions. The ones I gave were just examples. If you are having an issue (even if intermittenly), I hope you will notify Apple. Remember the more reports they get, the more likely they are to work on it! Thanks.
Yeah & what's crazy...
I don't have puncuation on my rotor settings. And I use Ava Enhanced. I still have the issue. I assumed it was just a bug with the TTS.
i feel like TTS. reads & takes everything litterally. While they've focused on making it less like a robot & more human, (which is good by the way), it still has quirks speaking english. I see this in acronyms too which is surprising, because everything these days is an acronym & they're everywhere.
