Hi, guys.
We would like to tell you about the great application for future parents that supports Voice Over. (iPhone and iPad compatible) - MyBabySim.
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/my-baby-sim/id642371875?mt=8
My Baby Sim is a real baby behavior simulator that allows users to try themselves as parents of a newborn.
Try it and you`ll learn how to take care about a baby – change diapers, play, feed or stop your baby from crying. You can get all basic knowledge about parenthood and first three months of infant`s life from our app.
My Baby Sim analyzes how good you are as a parent, storing all data in a log. Compare your progress with recommendations to test yourself. There is also an ability to share your experience within the community and ask for advice both from baby care experts and from the other community members.
We would be grateful for your feedback and impressions about the game. We would also appreciate an information about any bugs or errors (hope you`ll not face them), and we’ll do our best to fix them.
Follow us on Twitter https://twitter.com/MyBabySim (@MyBabySim) and join our community!

My Baby Sim is now available for Android! It works with Voice Assistant (Talk Back) and is ready for download! Please, tell your friends who have Android device about us and share this link:

We don't actually get to grow our baby from birth, right? It's from 1 month of age.
The devs keep saying from birth, but it's actually from 1 month old.
Of course, babies a month old can't say 'hi' or 'mama'.
I think I'd like to see the words they can't say exchanged for the sound of a baby swing at the home, or in the playground.
Also, although I can play the common lullaby, when I try to select a lullaby from my media, the log says he liked the song, but I heard no song, even though I got to choose from my library of songs.
Has anyone else experienced this?

I found the option of a kitty-cat suit for my boy very odd.
I had thought it would be available for my baby girl too, but there is no kitty suit.
Too bad.
Thing is, I always associate kitties with girls, not boys.Nonetheless, I bought my baby boy the kitty suit.
I didn't buy the school suit, because what's the point? Since I can't see the suit, and the name is not something I associate with month-old babies, I didn't buy it.
I like the stylish suit for my son Maurice, and the lemon dress for my daughter Rosalind.
I'd like to get Rosalind a kitty suit, though.
Maybe Halloween costumes might be an option one day?
Oh, yes, I love the ethnic choices.
Maurice is of African descent, while Rosalind is of European.

when the bottle is warming, you swipe to the left to read the temperature and when it's either at cold or normal you can stop heating it. hotter temperature will harm the baby. i have expirienced the same issue with the lullaby, so usually i just use the common one. i wish they would add more wilmusic you could buy with creddits instead of having to buy a pack for it with real money. i have only purchased pink dreis white one-piece and pink onepiece because i usually spend my creddits on the other things like tickling and the new toys. haveow do you have two babies at once

By Ornella on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

I using an Iphone 4s running ios 9.3.5 and the game sometimes sticks for me so much that I can't hear the baby. I would have to go to the main menu then click continue and then close the game from the app switcher and then it will work fine. I don't play by swiping I just play by touch. I know whrere the buttons are located so I can avoid this. And as for getting out of the adds, when the add is finished playing, listen for a little jingling sound when that is finished, press the home button to get out of the app and then go back in and the add will disappear. I agree that babies don't really try much to say words from like one to four months old so that shouldn't have been implemented until the baby would've reached six months or so providing that they would add more chapters. And its unrealistic to keep heating up the water after the baby takes a few sips so I don't play in advance mode. I prefer to just tap on the bottle to make it easier. And I agree with you Paige there should be some more things to that game. They should add some sort of other baby food like serial or yogurt.

By Paige on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

That's really funny, my phone is the exact opposite. In the past I always had problems hearing the baby, but with Ios 10 I can always hear her. I'm using an Iphone 5S. Yeah, I also use that trick for adds, not just earning credits but if there's a video ad I just go to the homescreen and back into the app, (i haven't paid for ad-free game). I feel like say word features should be replaced with food options like Ornella said because when a baby is four months old you can spoon feed them, (maybe have spoon-feeding locked until your baby reaches four months?) And yeah I don't use advanced level either for the same reason. Ideally, we would be able to heat up the milk or water and the continue feeding it to the baby as if in beginner level until food is at 99 percent, (so you would heat it once at the beginning of a feed). Maybe that can be imprmented in a future version. I really love how the devs update the app monthly, it's really nice to know you can look forward to some new features.

By Ornella on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

I wrote them a long message on facebook too. And I suggested the wind up toy box. And to Paige you should write them too so the more people talk about it and give ideas the app will be better. They respond faster on facebook.

By Paige on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

I just posted a comment to their facebook page suggesting many of the same things you did; wind up toy box, spoon-feeding option, being able to interact with our babies, and be able to have our babies interact with other users' babies. I just hope I posted it in the righ place, lol, (I'm really new to Facebook).

I didn't realize you could actually find out the temp on the milk by swiping left. Awesome.
Although I'm playing the beginner level with baby Maurice (who just reached his 2nd month), I'm using the advanced mode for baby Rosalind. Next time I'm caring for my baby girl, I'll check that out.

Hi. Yes. I have my son, Maurice, who is of African descent, and has reached two months today--yay, I'm halfway through--and Rosalind, my girl of European descent.
Although it's possible to have two babies on the go, that is, two saved games, I must admit that I find I'm not doing anything with Rosalind.
I find that I got much more attached to Maurice. Once he reaches the ripe old age of four months and that game is over, I'll turn to Rosalind.
Yes, I also like to spend my credits on important things, like the nanny.
I adore my li'l Reese, but sometimes I need a break, and that nanny option is awesome.

I have two real children, a son and daughter now in college.
They didn't even say any words till after their first birthday, closer to their second.
And once you stick a bottle in their mouths, they drink till it's time to burp. They don't cry and drink at the same time, like the sim does.
On the other hand, baby sims aren't born with ADHD, blind, deaf, etc.
I wasn't lucky enough to be able to hire a nanny at 2 A.M. when my kids woke up screaming, and I felt irritable.
Kudos to the devs for the godsend of a nanny.
I bought Maurice a lot of clothes, but I've also employed the virtual babysitter many times, when I was tired.
No such luck in the real world. LOL

Hi, Paige.
What's your baby's name?
Lulu did a great podcast about the game and methods of comforting Mareth.
When Maurice wakes up at zero comfort and 20 food, he's a tiny terror. Even when he's fed, he still cries. I often have to tickle him to get him to stop crying. It's weird to hear him crying while the log says I feel happy now.
I'd like to see the words replaced with a baby swing. I had one for my real kids and it amused them.
By the way, have you ever gotten a "freedom of speech" thing? What's that about? It's something the baby is supposedly thinking.
Maurice is in the care of the nanny, while I'm supposed to be sleeping. Except I'm on AppleVis. Ha ha.

In reply to by Paige

I'd love that! To be able to take both Maurice and Rosalind to the park or the garden, which is actually my favorite place.
I don't know how they could do that, though: let the baby see and hear you. I'd love it too if they could.
Since the baby isn't real, how would it react to what we say to them? I wouldn't mind the game being able to put my photo in place of the virtual mom.
A sighted friend told me Virtual Mom wore glasses. She didn't look like me at all.
I'd love to be able to access my Apple music or Spotify so Maurice can hear the music I like, instead of that common lullaby. It'd be really cool if he could shake the rattle in time to the music, or if I could.
But I guess that all takes a lot of development, if it's even doable.

By Paige on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

O, so you save the two babies and go back and fourth between them? My baby is named Anastasia, and she is one month one week, (I am really terrible at the game so I have to keep going back to that save, lol). I loove the podcast, that's actually how I found this app! The freedom of speech thing means that your baby dropped its' passifier. Lots of apps have microphone and camera usage capabilities, I mean even just the microphone, having the baby be able to hear you, would be really cool. And yeah the mom doesn't look like me either, but my friend said the European baby looks like a mini-me, lol!

By Ornella on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

My baby's name is Arianna. I never change the name. They should add a dad to the game so the person who is playing the game could choose the gender of the parent male or female. I find when I play in training mode and the baby is 4 months I don't have much work to do and could sometimes sleep better in the night. And I find that the bottle sounds are so quiet. They should change that.

By Paige on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

I didn't know that about training mode! Although I think they increased the time of no care before the baby dies because I can sleep through the night and my baby is usually still alive. They really should change the nanny back to 1 credit per hour instead of three. I like the bottle sounds, but I agree with you MissThea about them needing to change the baby crying while your feeding it

By treky fan on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

Hi. I have been playing with this app for months, and I have one problem. I am a heavy sleeper, and more times than I care to count, I wake up to a sick baby, forcing me to restart my game from the last save. Most of the time I can't use a nanny, because I'm trying to save the credit I still have. For those of you who wake up at night to take care of your babies, how do you position the phone so you can hear the notification go off, or how can you make sure you wake up at night to take care of it? Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

By Ken Downey on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

This game is comforting when the real kids aren't around any more. Also agree about player gender, since I'm a dad. Would also love the swing.

By Paige on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

A swing is a great idea! It would also be nice to have a little bouncy seat for your baby to sit in so that when you leave her she's not bored. As for hearing notifications... it use to give me those but I think it automatically turned on Silent mode. If you turn off silent mode, you will definitely hear the cries as long as the phone is in your room. As for me, I keep my phone charging on my bed next to me, but before, I kept it across the room. Either way, as long as silent mode is off, you'll hear it.

By TamagotchiTune on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

Hi I've been playing this game for almost a year and it used to cry and notify me if when my baby needed me. Never seen scilent mode and still don't. Mine must be on that to because its a quieter notification. How do you turn it on and off?

By Ornella on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

Its not on silent mode. They just put in a soft notification. I don't hear my baby at night either. Once I'm going to sleep late the baby may not be hungry but if the food is maybe at 90 I just give her water till it reaches 99 and then I go to sleep. By the time I wake up her food levels might be at either 14 or 18 percent. If I wake up really late, sometimes her level is at 4 percent so I try not to make that happen.

By TamagotchiTune on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

I thought they changed the notification sound but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something. As far as making sure the baby is being taken care of I look every hour. Even if I don't get notified.

By Paige on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

I know they changed the notification sound, but it's weird because after 93:30 when i get the notification, `baby needs your attention before sleep, please check food and comfort levels.` I check my notifications every morning, and they don't start coming back until about 7:00 at the latest. The only time I get a notification at night is if the game ends. So don't know what's going on there.

By MissThea on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

I feel like I'm actually working with a small baby. I think I'll take back the things I said about this being more of a warm fuzzy.
Maybe when I first started.
But I can't do anything right for this kid. He cries even when he's drinking milk. Wonder he doesn't choke. At least with my real kids, they buttoned up when they had a bottle in their mouth.
Not Maurice. He cries and cries and cries. Comfort and energy and food levels are all fine, but all he does is cry.
And I agree with the poster that the sounds for normal, and even some of the happy sounds, sound fussy and irritable.
I'm certainly feeling that way. I reckon it's time for me to hire a nanny--say, till he goes to college? LOL
Even taking him in my arms isn't working. Like I said, it's definitely nanny time.

By MissThea on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

In reply to by Paige

I was going to go back and forth between Maurice and Rosalind.
But Reese has been crying for no good reason for half an hour. My stress levels are rising, just like they did when I parented in real time.
So no, I don't go back and forth between them. One at a time is more than I can handle.
Once Maurice is grown, (I really think he should start college tonight, say, in another country?), I'll take a long break and start with Rosalind.
I can't believe this kid is still crying! I kid you not. At one point, I felt like throwing the phone across the room.
Personally, I wouldn't mind there being a free babysitter in the game: namely Daddy, or partner or whatever. Someone who doesn't cost a single credit.
Haha.

By TamagotchiTune on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

Hi. Have you tried checking his temperature? He might be sick. After checking temperature look in the log and he will tell you if he is sick or not.

By vulcansummer on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

How do you save the game, then reenter it once you want to play? I'm always having to start over with a new baby if my game ends. Thanks so much.

By Paige on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

If your in the main menu, like the once that says sign out and facebook youtube continue new game, you press saves & !n you press the baby you want to get into. Hope this helps!

By TamagotchiTune on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

I have another idea for this game. Blankets. Would be nice to have those to put the baby to bed and get them more comfortable.

By Paige on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

That's a great idea! And babies sometimes get a little baby blanket at birth and they like to hol~a it. And you could also wrap them in blankets when they go outside for their walk so they don't get cold.

By Ornella on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

I agree about the blankets and sometimes if the baby just cries for no reason and he or she's not sick, just give a toy. Because last night my baby was crying and I cleaned her up and I thought she was sick but when I tapped on the rabbit she stopped crying. So sometimes they just want the toys. And I think we should get diaper and food notifications on the locked screen. Sometimes the notifications gets way out of control. When my baby wakes up sometimes I would get an alert saying the baby needs attention before sleep to check food and comfort levels. So they need to fix that.

By Paige on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

I agree about the weird notifications. I'll get six notifications, panic and rush into the app, and realize she just dropped her toy. So I think the notifications should be more like Hatchi. Instead of just a generic `baby needs your attention` it should say exactly what she needs, like, `Diaper doesn't look very fresh`. And for things based on stats not log entries, it could just say `I'm hungry`, that way you would know exactly what was going on. And by the way, when it says `baby needs your attention before sleep, please check food and comfort level` that is based on time. At 9:30, it does that to symbolize that it's time for the baby to go to sleep. And I don't know if it's just me, but I feel like that sleep lasts longer than her frequent naps.

Hi. I've slept through the night and found the baby alive and well the next morning.
He always needs to be changed and fed, but he's very much alive.
That nanny time did me good yesterday. This morning, he went on his usual crying jag while I changed him. Only this time, after I removed the diaper I gave him a bath, and he stopped crying.
Then I fed him and we went out in the garden. In game time it never gets cold, unless you're using the Christmas edition. And I guess you can't use the Christmas edition unless you start a new game.

By MissThea on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

In reply to by TamagotchiTune

Hi, Ms Holly.
He wasn't sick. Even in real time, babies cry and there's no apparent reason. Then as they're crying, they overstimulate themselves and cry more, overstimming themselves more, and on and on.
I always check the temp to make sure he's not sick. In real time, we were both blind, and we checked the children's temp with a talking thermometer.

By MissThea on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

In reply to by vulcansummer

Hi, VulcanSummer.
Once you have played for 24 hours, the game will prompt you to save it. Your options will be save and continue, or continue only.

Hit save and continue, and voila, you get a 2nd notification saying your success is uploaded and an ok button.
When I first started, I thought I'd never get to that first check point.
I even wrote the devs, citing it as a bug because I never played this game before, and I'd just updated to IOS 10.
Next day, I got my first checkpoint. It represents a week in the baby's life.

By Ornella on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

but I get that notification when the baby is awake. Like when she just wake up I would hear that the baby needs attention before sleep to check food and comfort levels. They do need to fix a lot of things. Instead of going in the menu to feed you could just tap on the bottle and hold till the level reaches 100 percent. And yes it should be like the hatchi notifications. I did suggest that there should be a pause feature but they said you can't pause a baby in real life. You also can't fast-forward a baby either so I don't know why that is even there. And to me my baby sleeps much longer in the day than the night. This game has so much potential but they should've thought of the details before releasing it to the public. When the baby is feeding she's not supposed to cry. If she's still sad maybe then after the feeding she could continue to cry. In this game a baby from 1 to 4 months old do not say hi or mama. So yes those things should be replaced with a swing or different types of food which we should be able to make for our selves when the baby is asleep. That would give us something to do. You could make your own baby food like boiled peas and beans with baby carrots and then put it in a blender and make the food mushy for babies to eat. We should be able to blend fruits because its healthy. and instead of the log entry that says the toy broke it should say ooppse I dropped the toy then we could hear a sound effect that a small object dropped on the floor so we immediately know what to do instead of checking the log all the time. To measure the temp there should be a beaping sound and a number so that in real life when something like that does come up we know what to expect. And breast-feeding should've been the first option. And I hope one day we get to carry the baby for a ride in the Park in the stroller. So when we tap on the stroller, we hold and move up and down until we feel to stop or if the baby gets tired. I also suggested a feeding station when out because I use to be able to feed the baby in the park and now I can't do that no more. And we should be able to change them out as well. I have more ideas but I will give them another time. And finally since the rate has increased to hire a nanny we should be able to watch more videos to earn more credits.

By Paige on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

If i get up early enough then sometimes my baby is like yours MissThea, dirty diaper, hungry and close to death. But I also have to get ready for school before I can use the game, so usually my baby doesn't survive. And when bringing my baby for a walk, I usually dress her in outerwear because otherwise her comfort goes down rapidly. And yeah when Anastasia's crying I always check her stats, then her temp.

By MissThea on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

So you haven't been able to play long enough to reach that first checkpoint.
I don't know what would happen to Maurice if I didn't look after him for a few days.
Maybe I should check Rosalind and see if she's still alive?

OK, she's still alive. I must have saved the game when nanny had some time left, because it says nanny has ten hours left.

By TamagotchiTune on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

That's what I said a while ago about the credits. Since the nanny and clothes and locations and toys costs credits we should be able to earn more then we do now. I'm slowly earning more but keep losing because sometimes I need a nanny. And I'm low on credits.

By MissThea on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

If you've never had the chance to play long enough to get to your first checkpoint, that's what's happened then.
That's why you keep needing to start a new baby.
I don't know what would happen to Maurice if I didn't look after him for a few days.
I just checked Rosalind, of whom I haven't seen hide nor hair for days and days.
She's not only alive and well, but nanny is still there. I must have saved the game during nanny time, and time itself froze. She still has ten hours on the clock. Talk about getting your credits' worth.

By Paige on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

I agree with all of those ideas, and some of those things confused me too, like `the toy broke. And yeah they should add more sounds and at least something to do while baby is sleeping, like cooking like you suggested, or minigames, or something, because I still want to play while she's sleeping. And I can feed her outside it just isn't as loud. And yeah if they're going to make things more expensive they should either increase the credit rate per day or just let us earn unlimited credits because everything is so overpriced. And they should keep adding toys like more stuffed animals and instruments and more lullabies.

By Paige on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

I just got my baby to her two month check-point yesterday because it's easier for me to care for her on the weekends when I don't have ichool. And the mini menu in toys menu should be renamed from `give a toy` to `stuffed animals` because a rattle could be considered a toy and all the toys in the give a toy menu are stuffed animal toys. And they should have a Halloween pack as well as Christmas and Valentine.

By MissThea on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

Cooking my own food? No thanks. Just as in real life, when Maurice is asleep, I find something else to do, like take a nap, read a book, play another game, listen to music, continue on writing my novel, etc.
Since we only get to watch 3 videos a day, I think they should be worth at least 3 credits each.
Since I can hear the baby in the background, I call it watching cartoons.

By Paige on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

I am playing in gaame mode in beginner level, and there's a really interesting glitch. I can feed my baby milk while she's sleeping! I have to heat it up, even though I'm in beginner mode, but she drinks it and her stat goes up WHILE STILL SLEEPING!! Is this a bug or is there actually some reason for this?

By Paige on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

Maybe instead of cooking you could just have minigames in case people don't want to cook. And the watching cartoons is cute! I'll think about it like that now!

By TamagotchiTune on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

Yes I've noticed that too. I'm not sure maybe it is a bug. I usually wake my baby up if the energy is high to feed her. It's weird feeding while they're asleep lol.

By Paige on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

Yeah, it is kind of weird. I don't think I'll do that anymore, since my baby just died because I forgot to stop heating the milk. lol

By Ornella on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

I don't think its a glitch. I was playing in training mode and I could feed her with out heating up the milk but when she's asleep and hungry I have to heat it up. And I would keep saying that its not realistic to keep heating up the milk every time the baby takes a few sips. I say do it just once and then continue to feed. And I would like to do something when the baby is sleeping so this game could be educational for people who would like to experience parent life. So teaching us to make the baby food would be good. We could learn about nutrition. They just have to draw a baby blender on the screen and we could tap on it to mash the food up. We should be able to open the bottle scoop the formula and pour the hot water and shake to mix it up.

By MissThea on Thursday, October 27, 2016 - 03:13

Nope, that has to go. It can't be done in real life.
As for cooking, maybe one should have the option to cook, or use store-bought baby food, which should be free like the milk and water.
By the way, if you get a notification that the diaper doesn't look very fresh, do you wake your baby in the middle of the night to change the diaper?
I recently got such a notice, but since Maurice is asleep, I decided not to wake him just for that.
When he wakes, I'll see to him.
In real life, I didn't believe in interrupting my children's sleep. They need it, and parents need the break it offers.
What do you guys think?
By the way, how many real-time parents are there on forum, and how many just virtual at the moment?
Also, the devs mentioned recommendations available, but I never found them. Is there a knowledge base somewhere people can access, if they need to, about baby care?
I once played a Harry Potter based game, in which a book was one of the objects to be found. One could read the book. Maybe a parenting pamphlet could be added to the game, so you can read it while the little tyke is asleep.
But trust me, if you had a real baby, once he was asleep, you'd want to go and do likewise.
I wouldn't mind seeing a Baby Sim 2, in which the child is able to go from 4 months to nine months. They're a delight once they start sleeping through the night, but they also get sick with the flu, and theething is a real B for them. There's so much that could be done with this game.
Kudos to anyone who would take on the adolescent version. Raising a teenager is probably more stressful than feeding and changing. Imagine your little Mareth, Anastasia, or Maurice, who you dangled on your knee, telling you to go do something impossible with yourself because you won't let him/her drive the family car?
And wouldn't it be fun to have a birthday edition? OMG, I had trouble doing this in real time. I guess I'm trying to make up for all my mistakes with my virtual baby. Ha ha.
