Do not download the new version of the Citibank Mobile App

PSA: Just downloaded Citibank mobile version 7.9.1. The preview still works, so you can check your account balance and view recent transactions. But once you sign in, it has become 100% inaccessible. This is the biggest accessibility regression I have ever seen with any app that I use.

I too have downloaded the Citibank 7.9.1 update. I have not noticed any new changes with Voice-Over. It still works for me as it always has. I am running IOS 10.0.2 on an iPhone 7plus. I'm not sure why the app is not working for you? can anyone else confirm?

I humbly retract my dire warning from earlier. Everyone use this as an example of why bugs should be reported as questions asking for others' comments and not statements of definite fact.

However, I have isolated the problem. The app works just fine if I turn off the snapshot feature. I don't understand why this is, but if I turn on the snapshot, and then sign in, I cannot use VO at all. If I turn off snapshot, everything is fine. Strange... This is on iOS 10.0.2 and an iPhone 6.

Hello,

Financial institutions are usually pretty good about making their apps accessable.

You should send them an email and let them know you are a VO user and let them know what works and what does not work. I’m sure they’ll be glad to fix it.
