Hi All,
I have the allergy app from WebMD.com and it's accessible, but I'd like to find another app to compare this app too because although I have no reason to doubt what it shows I really don't know how accurate this WebMD.com app is. Has anybody found any apps for the iPhone that shows pollen levels for specific areas that are accessible?
Thanks.

Allergy Alert or pollen.com
As the subject says, it's one of these. I'm pretty sure I looked it up as pollen.com, but now on my phone it shows as allergy alert.
While we're on this topic, the weather channel app is also supposed to give you a daily allergy report during the spring, summer, and fall, but I have yet to get this to work right. Has anyone else had luck with this?
mendi's suggested app
Hi Mendi,
Do you have any tips for reading the info in this app? I installed it and I heard that the level for today was 9.3 and that the predominant pollen was ragweed, but it was kind of hard to read anything else. Thanks for the suggestion though.
It's a map
I think the reason why it won't work is because it's a map. I only know this because I was trying to do the exact same thing. Luckily, I had someone sighted helping me! I've been looking for this exact same type of app too with no success.
not perfect but does the job
It works for me, as it reads the pollen level for today and/or the predominant pollens. It should also give you numbers for the next I think it's up to 5 days now. What other information would you like it to give?
for mendi
I just looked at the app again and I think I understand it better now, but like today it says the level for my area is 9.3 and the predominant pollen is ragweed, but it also lists elm and grasses. Does it only give the number for the predominant pollen for the day then, in this case ragweed? This is my first year of needing to keep up with pollen levels so I'm just not quite sure how to interpret the results the app is giving me, it seems like there should be 3 different numbers, one for ragweed, one for grass and one for elm since that's the 3 things listed.
Having said that though it's the ragweed that I'm most interested in since that's what I seem to be allergic to.
pollen level
I don't think the pollen number is for any specific type of pollen. I don't know exactly how it all works, but I know the scale goes up through 12. So I figure if pollen counts are 9 or above, that's probably what my issue is. It would be interesting if it could be defined by which type is at what count, but I'd imagine that would be difficult to sort out.
