Help, Screen Curtain not behaving as expected under iOS 10

Hi all,
I now have an annoying problem now I've upgraded to IOS 10 that I cannot find a solution too.
I now have the screen curtain on when VO is on. The screen curtain turns off when VO is turned off but sometimes, I want VO on and the screen curtain off so sighted people can help me with new features, for example the new Imessage.
I have had a look at the Apple troubleshooting page and it tells me to do a three finger tap three times. However, this turns off VO and the screen curtain as well just like before. I want VO on and the screen curtain off... Please, how do I do that... the three finger tap three times does not work for me.

Steve.

Hi Steve, Very odd. I'm on IOS10 and it works fine. Three finger touble tap turns speech off but leaves your phone acting as though VO is on. This has always been the case. Three times turns the curtain on and off. Have you tried rebooting your device. Sometimes these weird issues go away after a hard reboot.

Hello Steven.

A tripple tap, or tapping three times with three fingers will turn screen curtain on and tapping three times with three fingers again will turn it off.

A double tap with three fingers will turn voiceover speech off and double tapping again with three fingers will turn it on.

Important note: tapping twice with three fingers will turn the voiceover voice off but will not turn off voiceover.

Hi Guy's,
Thank you, I got it working. As suggested, I did a hard reet and then did the triple tap with three fingers and it worked. Funny, I've never had that problem before, I've never used the screen curtain but for some reason, it was on when I updated to IOS 10.

It's a tripple tap with 3 fingers on the home screen. This is how it's always ben.

Take care.
