Hello all,
Is anyone currently experiencing problems with the pandora radio app on an iPad? over the past week or more I find that the app does not open when double-tapping. I am wondering if the most recent iOS update has created this issue?

Hello there! I think I may have a fix for you.

i've had issues but I think it's linked to the wi-fi.

I'd try shutting down the ipad & then reboot it, reconnect to the wi-fi then re-open Pandora. Check your connection on the status bar @ top of the screen. I have great sympathy for you both.

I really do hope this helps you two.

No luck. I just might have to wait for an update.

I just tested the app on both my iPad Mini 4 and my older iPad Air, and the app works just fine. I have the latest version installed.

Having said that, there was a time some months ago where an update broke the app when used with VoiceOver. When I contacted Pandora about the issue, I learned that it only happened on certain iOS device types and was not experienced by everyone using the app with VoiceOver, but the issue was widespread enough that they were already working on a fix. It took about two weeks for an update to come out that resolved the issue.

For those of you experiencing issues, the first thing I would try is to open the app without VoiceOver enabled, to see if it works as expected. If the app also fails to work with VoiceOver turned off, then there is something more serious going on.

Also try deleting the app from your device and reinstalling it. Do not worry - this will not cause you to lose your stations or anything. In fact, I don't think you even have to log back in the next time you install it.

I have had pretty good luck getting Pandora to resolve accessibility issues when I reported them to Pandora Support. Try contacting them to see what they have to say about the matter.

Turning off screen-curtain fixed it.

Hi folks,
I have tried several of the hints given here and find it still does not work. Is there a specific address that folks used to send comments to Pandora?

My son has autism and he relies on his Pandora. On his iPad mini, it works great. But when he uses his new large-format iPad, if he touches two stations in rapid succession (which happens because his hands are shaky), then it gets stuck jumping back and forth between the two stations. There is no way to interrupt it except to completely quit out of Pandora.

This is becoming a huge, frustrating problem. I have tried deleting, rebooting, and reinstalling, several times. This did not work. I contacted Pandora, and their reply specified connecting to his computer, going into iTunes, clicking the "view" menu, etc. and doing a bunch of steps that do not appear on our iTunes screen at all. In fact, my son only owns two iPads, and he does not own a computer. I own a Surface Pro (Microsoft), and the steps that Pandora told us to take simply do not appear when I log onto iTunes. Very strange.

Any ideas why Pandora has started skipping between two stations with no way to interrupt it? My son has used Pandora for five years, and this problem only started a few weeks ago.

Thanks for any ideas!
Rebecca

My mom is also having this problem she is in hospice and her hands do not work well so sometimes she double clicks and the pandora starts skipping stations it's hard on her because her mind does not work as well as it use too, so any advice would be great

If you have the iPad one and delete the pandora app, you can not get it back.
It says your device is not compatible. It use to let you choose the older app,
but not anymore. I have lost my Pandora app. :(
