Hi I've been thinking about getting an Ipod Touch and I was wondering what is the largist amount of storage I could get? I was hoping that there would be a 200 gig one but I have been unable to find one that large. Any help would be great!

The largest amount of storage for the iPod touch (6th generation) is 128 GB.

I saw the clasic had 164 gigs? Does that have Voiceover and if so what is the difference between that and the touch?

I believe the iPod Classic may have some form of spoken menus, but not full Voiceover.

Also, the iPod Classic runs its own firmware, not iOs like the Touch.

Thanks for the feedback! Seems like the touch is better.

The new IOS won't run on the fifth gen IPods anyway. So your best bet would be to get the latest IPod touch unit out there right now which is the sixth generation unit.

Why not bite the bullet and just pay a bit more to get the iPhone 7 256 GB? Well that's of course assuming your music library is bigger than 128 GB and that you want to fit your entire music library on the device.

Personally I think eventually the iPod will be phased out, with the bigger and bigger iPhone storage a seprit iPod for music doesn't make sense anymore, as I say my opinion only.

Personally I would love if Apple brings back something like the iPod classic with a lot of storage, 256 or even 512 GB, but we all know that's not going to happen.

Cause this bullet is not worth biting. I have a 6s I just got and it works great! The 7 is something I don't want since they removed the headphone jack and while some people may be okay with that I personally am not. I'll probably get a touch at some point. Thanks everyone for the feedback.

Ah ok fact that you just got a 6s changes things, personally then I'd also not go for the 7 if it was me.

On the not wanting a 7 because they took away the headphone jack, my opinion is rather than kicking against it, to embrace it. Get use to things changing and adapt with the changes, they won't be bringing back the headphone jack so what's the point of kicking against the idea. For now they included a adaptor in the box to help people with the transision, but in future they will even leave out the adaptor.
You can be sure that they'll also drop the headphone jack on future iPhones, iPads and even future Macbooks.

Personally for the past 2 years of having my iPhone 6 I never used my earpods on any other device than on my iPhone, so having earpods with a lightning adaptor won't phase me at all. Similarly I can count on my one hand the amount of times when I used my iPhone in the past 2 years with other headphones or a PC audio cable, so the taking away of the headphone jack won't influence me much at all.
I'm not saying it's a good thing that they took it away, I'm sure if I one day get a iPhone 7 or the next gen SE I will at some point run in to a situation where a normal headphone jack would have been handy, what I am saying is that it's not necessarily a bad thing that they took it away.

To each their own I suppose. I'm not sure what I'll do when I have to get a new phone, but I'm going to take great care of my phone and hopefully won't have to deal with that issue for another year or 2.

I like having an iPod specifically for music, and a phone for just about everything else. I plug my iPod into the stereo, and I can remote control it from my phone. This gives me wired audio quality, no Air Play or Blue Tooth, and I still have my phone to use while listening to music. So to me, it makes perfect sense to have both.

My 64GB Touch is big enough since that's more music than i can listen to in one session. I have about a terabyte of music, so I don't expect to have a device that will hold it all anytime soon.
