unable to complete amazon checkout with the app

Hello,
I'm not able to complete the checkout process via the amazon app. I can select my shipping address how ever now there's another button you have to click on that confirms that you want that address which does nothing with voiceover. A friend of mine turns vo off and taps and then turns vo back on again to get around it, however I tried it and I always end up on another screen. Does anyone know if amazon is going to fix this issue in a future update? If they are all about accessibility like people claim they are then I think they need to fix this issue asap.

I use the Amazon iOS app regularly to make purchases and I have not run into this problem. What version of Amazon app are you using? What type of device are you using it on? What version of iOS? Maybe with a little more information we here in the community can help figure this out together.

I just purchased something via the Amazon app a few days ago and had no issues. I will say that when you get to the confirmation of your address that it's a radio button, and if you have it set to remember your address and shipping options, you should have no problem putting the order through. Maybe things are a bit different on an iPhone SE which i'm pretty sure you have, but I had no issues on an iPhone 6 using iOS 9.3.3.

Hi, Yes IPhone SE with 9.3.3. I saw an update that came out the other day to the app but haven't tried it again to see if I still have the issue. I also don't have amazon remembering my shipping options so I will check that and see what happens.

Hi, I too am having this problem, I'm running the latest Amazon update on an iPhone 6s, my girlfriend is running an iPhone 5s, and we both have the same problem. I have uninstalled and reinstalled this app on both of our phones, and we do not get any better results. This is outright discrimination, and Amazon needs to fix this problem ASAP. I'm sorry, but if we do not put up with this kind of problem in brick-and-mortar stores, then why should we have to in online places such as Amazon?

I am going to test this and get back to y'all. It worked fine for me just the other day but it is entirely possible that Amazon changed something on their back end.

I use an iPhone 6S and I use the Amazon app consistently without issues. At first, I did have to spend a bit of time with it, but that's nothing unusual. I personally really enjoy the app. When trying to select a size of clothes, for example, the app is much more effective than Windows and JAWS.

I don't understand how some of you were not having problems but some of us are, I also have an iPhone 6s and have the same problem that the previous poster put up about this.

Discrimination is absolutely not a word I'd consider, seeing as there's at least two partial ways of working around it. 1. Asking for sighted help, not my thing, or 2. remembering your shipping options. Given how tedious the keyboard onscreen can be sometimes, remember your apt number, your street etc is, I'd think it's a welcome change. All you can hope for is one of those oh so wonderful "bug fixes," releases that Amazon is touted for, actually fixes this mini hiccup.

For now I would suggest checking the appropriate box to remember your shipping options and address for the future. When I put an item in the amazon shopping cart, it remembers all my details. So to make sure everything is correct, I read the screen very carefully, and then double-tap on the submit order button. it works every single time consistently.

Hi there I use the Amazon app quite a bit to use to check out when I purchase something but I use the one click settings I don't know if you are using a different method of checking out with the Amazon app but I sent the one click up and it works fine for me when I check out That might be a way to get around it and I am using a I phone 6s Plus and I also have it to where it save my information then it has it already to go when I get to the last part weren't for my shipping details
