Accessibility Comments

This app is accessible with VoiceOver. When one double-taps the "Menu" button, the menu expands onscreen--so that is something to note. Simply flick left or right to access the various options, and double-tap the "Menu" button to hide them.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads all page elements.

Button Labeling

All buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

The app is fully accessible with VoiceOver, but the interface could be easier to navigate and use.

Other Comments

The Team FM app is a straightforward and easy way to listen to the Team-FM radio station, particularly as it negates having to enter in the station's details into a third-party radio app. In a future update, an accessibility hint telling VoiceOver users when the menu is expanded or collapsed would be helpful.

Having had a hand in designing this app I'd like to say thanks for your feedback. To be fair I haven't had any problems navigating the menu, but giving everyone the best user experience we possibly can is very important to us, so we will do our best to make the menu interface easier.

The app is quite simple to use, absolutely no accessibility issues whatsoever.

Like I was saying in my previous comment, I had absolutely no trouble getting to the play button. The developer would just need to give a VoiceOver hint that says double-tap to hide if the menu options are showing. I'll be honest...I think the accessibility rating this app has been given is a tad bit harsh. Even if the menu options are hidden, people can still get to the play button, and isn't that the reason why people have the app in the first place? Now if the play button was hard to get to, I think this would make sense, but the play button is visible and accessible no matter if the menu is showing or hidden. Just my 2 cents on the thing. It's a great app and everyone should give it a shot if they enjoy listening to Team fm, which I do.

Hi,

This is a great app and I had no problems finding my way around. Perhaps the menu button could be slightly changed to say double tap to show items or double tap to hide items. Not a problem for me personally but others may not feel so brave to see what happens if you tap on the menu button. Keep up the good work.

Great job on this app and what I am seeing with VoiceOver. Do you need to have a station playing in order to search for a genre of music you want to hear? Very nice interface, and great job all around.

There is no search function at all, this app only plays one single station, team fm. that's it.

Thanks bro for the info. I thought maybe it would allow for other Team FM stations to be searched. However, i am happy none the less with this app.
