Good morning to everyone

You know I have been so shy for many many years to ask in person or on a site like this those simple questions and the reason is that I think that they are so simple, But for me I go, how do you findout so I will ask. try not to laugh to much.

1. where ever you go on the net you see RSS Feeds
what is that? and if you do click on this, what should one expect?
And my biggest fear is because one time on e bay I thought I would enter on this it can not hurt, did I made a mistake, it did change so much it took me for ever to back to my simple ways and that is why I am not the type that like those kind of adventure.
2. the word blog, sorry I should have check the spelling of the word, but what make let's say a blog and something eles is a post, what is the difference, so tell me if I go not in the right direction. what I am doing now is a post right? so if this is a case, I saw on this site the word blog, whatmae a blog a blog not just here but anywhere on the net if you see the word or a blogger.
I know when I listen tv, the will say oh on the net some blogger are there just to cause trouble, like if it is in regarde politic.
so in the context of apple vis what is a blogg?
and my last great mystery of all time questions or wonder is this, it may not be a easy one.
Twitter, I did have a account for a long time but I never grasp the context and how certain can do what I will say.
when I watch cnn or fox, the personn in the show the host, day after day I wonder how can she be there doing a life show and some how I have the impression that if she choose to have access to this or that person, she will get there in a matter of secondes, and not just one persons, maybe I qam wrong, but some how she will or can go and see all what donald trump has tweet,
but me when I have open my account, I mean this is it I got the account, but itis not so much that I wanted to tweet that bad but I thought to have access to the people on tv's account to see what they have had tweet, I don't know but I would not think that the person that is doing the kind of news show live, she can not have the time to have sign up let's say to I don't know let's say 22 persons, you see I don't get the concept b ecause if it is what I kind of have on my mind I am sure I am wrong, you or me at homw I mean you would bnot have any free time, you know

so if someone is kind to light me yup with a fire of knowledge, I would be happy even if the questions may sound very simples for me they are not simple at all.
the thing is that if you so call as some say have the audacity to make a mistake in some of those circle, they will let you know sometime not in a polite way if you see what I meabn.
so thank you I will check laterti hundred peoples?

I don't know about the RSS feed reader, as it's not something I use, but I can answer the other two questions.

Blog:
A blog is very similar to a diary, but it is written online, public, for everyone to read. The entries in a blog are called posts. Different from a forum (like the AppleVis forum for example) a blog is usually only written by one single author. While everybody can read the blog, only the author can create new entries. When you are reading a blog, you are reading what that author writes. It is not a discussion board.
People that spend a lot of time blogging, or are even making money with their blog, are called bloggers.
A forum also consists of posts - like the one you made, and like the one I am writing now. But in a forum everybody can write their content, comments, answers. In general, if you write any kind of text and put it online, that is called "posting".

Twitter, and Twitter on TV:
When there is a host on a show on TV or radio using Twitter, they do not actually use Twitter in that very moment. Every show has a team - a very large team - of people working during all hours of the day searching through websites and Twitter and whatever other sources they have available to gather information for the show. The host is only the one that gets to present that information live.
In other words, when the host talks about something that Donald Trump posted on Twitter, then there is a different employee of that show who found the post an hour earlier. They took a screenshot of the post and transcribed it. When the show goes live on the air, they show the picture of the post and the host reads out the transcription.
That is how the host of a show gets to have regular work hours. They simply are part of one large team that gathers all the content for them. Hosts need different skills. They don't gather the information, they need to look good on camera, have a nice voice and be good at interviewing people, ask intelligent questions, be entertaining and so on.

I hope that answers those two questions.
Hopefully someone else can shed light on how to setup and read RSS feeds.

You should never be afraid to ask anything, no matter how simple you think it should be. There are no stupid questions, only stupid answers.

Your questions are really not that simple. honest.

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It's a way of publishing stuff online. You have feeds, and subscribers. The feed puts something on a webpage with an RSS feed, and you as the subscriber, subscribe to that feed and get notified and download the content when it's available. Is so you don't have to go back and check the website all the time to see if there is something new. It is how podcasting works. The podcaster publishes using an RSS feed, and the listener's podcatcher will check the subscribed feeds, and and download new podcasts as they become available. It's used to publish other stuff like new articles on a website.

So, if you click on an RSS feed, it kind of depends on what the feed is. If you are in your browser, you will subscribe to that page, and your browser will check for new content and get it for you, without you having to go look for it.

Blog
Blog is a short form of Web Log. It's a quicker way of typing and saying it. I think the primary difference between a post and a blog is that blogs are usually created by one person, or a group of specific people, who write articles on a topic. So, we have people who are editorial staff at AppleVis who write things on behalf of the site that are called blogs. v You and I, on the other hand, are members, and we write shorter, more conversational poss.

Blogs are often more like an essay, opinion piece, or other editorial content, and posts are conversations.

Twitter.
I'm with you brother. I have tried to get into Twitter. I have yet to find the clutter useful to me. It is possible to look at Donald Trump's tweets only, or look at a bunch of subscribed feeds, or search for topics, and even by what's going on around you. But I will leave this one for someone who uses Twitter to explain.

Hi Captain Batman, Those are very good questions. The answers were very helpful to me too especially the RSS information. So if more questions come to mind, do ask here. They just might be helpful to others too.
