this really concerns my brother.
He was searching for an author in the app Tell Me when so that push alerts could come his way when new books were released. the specific author is James Grippando. I have had no trouble finding search results for him on my 6S iPhone. But, when Larry and I both tried it on his iPhone six with the latest iOS version, he always got back no results found.
that doesn't make sense, all other authors he searched for returned results and he is able to monitor them. Perhaps Steve Jobs isn't a James Grippando fan? No.... that's probably not it! I checked and James Grippando is the correct spelling. Any thoghts?

I had problems with this app
When I tried out the app earlier this year, I had nothing but problems with it. I never got any push notifications, even though authors I was following had books released. Later, any attempt to view information within the app caused the app to crash. I since removed the app and haven't tried using it again.
To be fair, it's possible the app was updated since I last used it, and it's also possible the issues I had were specific to me and might not be a good indication of how the app will work for others. Nevertheless, my experience with the app was lousy.
It's a shame, because I would love an app that keeps me up to date on audiobook releases by authors I am interested in. I've tried two apps that offer this, one of which worked initially but broke a few months later, and the other of which never worked. Audible is supposed to give me notifications by email, but I frequently don't get them, and they aren't always delivered in a form that's screen reader friendly. At this point, I am not aware of anything else to try, unless someone here has a recommendation.
