Hi,
I'm not sure if this has been discussed here before but i need some help.
When i am in an app, and in an edit field,if i change my mind and do not want to type anymore, i can't seem to make the onscreen keyboard go away.
I can make the onscreen keyboard go away with a bluetooth keyboard butdoes anyone know what is the fingure gesture to make the on screen keyboard go away?
Thanks
Arvind

At least on my iPad, there is a Hide Keyboard button in the extreme bottom right of the screen. Double-tapping this button removes the keyboard, and double-tapping the text field brings it back.

Yes my ipad mini has the same button to hide/unhide keyboard.
Trouble is it will not stay hidden in some apps.
It keeps popping back up and interfering with my deathless prose.
Worst case is the app called "crosswords" by Standalone.
Wish I could drive a steak thru it's little qwerty heart.

I use a braille display mostly.
It just occurred to me that maybe if I switch to the braille onscreen kb it might be easier to kill.
"Show onscreen keyboard" is off in settings.
Details at eleven.
