Tired of carrying multiple bulky chargers? Tired of bringing the wrong power brick?

The Zolt charger, voted a Consumer Electronics Product of the year, will solve this for you.

Rather than copying Zolt's info here, you can go to www.gozolt.com to read it all and to buy this great product.

But let me explain, the Zolt is about 3.5 inches long and just over an inch in diameter, but octagonal rather than round. On one end are flip-out prongs to plug into a wall outlet. On one side are three USB ports; the top port and very close to the end without the prongs is a laptop charger while the next two are for any devices that can be charged via USB. The Zolt comes standard with one power chord for the specified laptop (PC, older Mac, or newer Mac). I actually bought all three because my office uses PC and my personal machines of choice are Macs. The PC chord comes with a wide variety of adapters, to accommodate almost any PC.

The Zolt has intelligent charging so it knows what your charging device needs for power.

I have used it to charge: MacBook Air, wife's MacBook Pro, two different office PCs, iPhone, iPad, a few different portable Braille displays and a couple other gadgets. Provided the laptop isn't a power hog, you can charge multiple devices simultaneously.

I have no financial interest in Zolt, I'm just a very happy customer. I bring the Zolt, the right power chord, and a set of 4 inch Amazon cables (that are always in my bag) and I can charge anything.

Hope those of you who travel with a variety of electronics find this review useful and, if you can, buy yourself a $99 Zolt.

Will this thing also take the new mac moddles with the USBC port that also acts as a charting port? I'm just wondering as I didn't see that in the summary.

I don't have one of these, however given that the new Macbook will charge not only with the included USB C to wall cable, but with any USB C cable connected to a strong enough USB power source, I don't see any reason it wouldn't charge. As long as the Zolt can supply at least 1.5A of power, it'll charge up the new Macbook just fine. Be aware, though, that it will use up a USB port until they come out with a Zolt cord designed for USB C, so you'd only be able to charge the Macbook and one other portable device, not two.

Hello,
Has anyone been able to use the Zolt charger with a 13 inch MacBook Pro mid 2012 or any other MacBook Pro? I bought the Zolt on Amazon. Instead of the traditional Zolt with eight power tips, I bought something that just included the Zolt, MagSafe 1 and MagSafe 2 cables, and USB extender. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B06X91V6SD/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1
There was only one MagSafe cable, which was too big for my Mac. It seems that Zolt has gone out of business, so I found a MagSafe 2 cable on eBay. Unfortunately, it also did not fit. One cable is slightly thinner than the other at the end that supposedly goes into the Mac, but they are both too long and not wide enough. Apple has a MagSafe adapter, but I'm not sure if that would fix my problem. In Googling Magsafe, it seems to be associated with the Mac's thunderbolt port and with connecting a monitor. I am thoroughly confused. Unfortunately, I don't have the original packaging of the Amazon item, but I plan to return my eBay purchase unless I can find a workaround.
Thanks for any comments or suggestions.
