Description of App
Blindfold Pinball is an fully accessible audio game that's similar a pinball machine in an arcade.
In Blindfold Pinball, you fire you ball, and listen as it bounces around the bumpers until it makes its way towards your flippers. Tap the screen to activate your flippers, and you can set the game to use both flippers at the same time, or operate them independently.
There are several levels of difficultly based on ball speed, and you can earn extra balls by scoring high. You can post your high scores to Facebook or Twitter.
Blindfold Pinball was suggested by several blind gamers who enjoyed Blindfold Shuffleboard and Blindfold Bowling.

Tutorials
I don't see any tutorials for this game. I am lost as how to play. Any help is appreciated
How to play
Tap on help. Then look for user guide and tap that and it tells you how to play.
Where are the flippers
I can't find the flippers, can you help me?
Great game! And here are some tips!
Hi! I'd like to thank Blindfold Games for yet another excellent game to add to the collection: I'm definitely not an expert at Blindfold Pinball by any stretch of the imagination, but I definitely enjoy it; To help answer the questions above, here are a few tips. Although the user guide explains how to play this game, there is also a Learn Mode where the game plays itself and a voice explains what it is doing: from my own experience I have seen that Learn Mode isn't the same every time it's played, so going into it several times will help you discover how the game works even better than just playing learn Mode once. There is also a Discovery Mode button: double-tapping this allows you to explore the screen with your finger to know where the bumpers, flippers, and other components of the pinball table are. No coins are used for either Learn Mode or Discovery Mode, so you can make use of those any time without worrying about using up your coins.
Discovery mode
Thanks, I've tried the discovery mode, but still I can't understand where the flippers are located. Actually, my phone become very slugghish if I stay in discovery mode for more than a minute. I've the same problem in shuffleboards, guess because I've a very old 4s? Can you tell me where the flippers are, taking the home button as the starting point for the search?

The flippers
But how do you use the flippers? Tap two places on the screen if they operate independently? Do you keep tapping?
Another awesome game
This is a truly awesome game! I have been hanging out for this one for a long time. I managed to score 2185 points for my first game and can now boast a high score of 2540. I will get better with practise. I really love the sounds. Thanks Marty for yet another awesome game.
flippers
There are two types of games: dual flipper and independent flippers In the first mode, tapping the screen activates both flippers. In the independent flipper mode, tap on the left side for the left flipper and vice-versa.
right flipper
When I tap the right side of the phone, nothing happens. The left flipper works correctly. Any tips to solve the issue?
right flipper
I'll check it, but make sure your only one finger is pressing at a time. You can't have your left finger pressed when pressing your right finger.
Ah, ok
Maybe that's the problem!
explanations?
Hi guys. so, in the mode that has asingle flipper, I can control the game by using just one finger, correct? I'm still not sure how to control where the ball goes. It sounds like it'd be easier but for whatever reason, not yet anyways.
Kidfriendly, you did it!
I'm not a man who gets excited easily, in fact it rather often happens that i tire of games and apps within half an hour after having downloaded it, but this time, man this time! VBall showed promise, Breakout was good as well and so i among others suggested pinball and here it is and it's just as good as i thought it would be. I've been into pinball machines since i was a kid. I couldn't play them very well, no pinball wizard here, but i loved the sounds and now i have an accessible pinball machine to play with and one that's awesome too.
If i should complain about something, and it isn't really a complaint but rather a suggestion: I liked the old sound better when you put in a coin to play, however that is a personal preference so would it be possible to have an option to choose what sound you heard when you put in a coin?
I just can't wait until i get the upgrade with the other pinball machines.
Thanks for another awesome game!
how to play
can anyone explain me basics? i tried to read manual but i dont understand english so well, so i hardly understand what is going on. thanks
Free Coins
Does this game offer a way to get free coins like so many of the other games do? In the manual, it says play for free. However, I don't see the earn coins option under get upgrades. This is an awesome game!
This game is a blast, however...
So, I have had this game for a couple of days. I'm really enjoying it, but I just have one question. How in the world do I keep the ball in play? When it gets close to the flippers, I flip them like crazy. The problem is, that I just can't seem to keep the darn thing going. Somehow, I managed to make it to 2000 points, but I just don't know how. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Suggestion for Sounds
Do you think that you could make an 8-bit soundpack for this game? That would be really fun.
Question
I just read the previous post, in which an 8-bit sound pack for Blindfold Pinball was requested, and I was wondering, purely out of curiosity, what does this mean? I'm not an expert on sound, so I'd simply like to understand why such a sound pack might be wanted.
8-bit
Hi guys. Remember the music that was in the video games of the 1980's, and 1990's? if so, that's known as 8-bit. A perfect example is the theme song from Super Mario Brothers. If you're familiar with that, then you've heard 8-bit music. For a bit of fun, type in 8 bit music into youtube. You would be astounded at what some folks have done with it. Some people have even gone so far as to re-create classic rock albums by Pink Floyd and Rush into 8-bit music! LOL!
Flippers
as it gets closer and closer to the flippers, the numbers count down. start flipping when it hits the lowest number.
I think i may have encountered 2 bugs.
1. when in settings and trying to change the winning or losing sound, the settings won't stick. It defaults to the sound that comes with the game as default.
2 and i don't know if this is a bug or what it actually is, but when trying to flip with the flippers, the count down starts and i flip like mad and sometimes the ball shoots away like it aught to, but in other cases when the ball comes near the flippers, it sorta stops and hovers there in dead center and even though the voices, usually both, count down you can't do anything because the ball goes down the exit hole. The reason why i think this might be a bug is that the ball stops just before the flippers and just hangs there for a while.
Anyone else had this or am i with my iPhone 6 S+ the only one having this?
Quick tip
When your trying to change the sounds, you must click the "More info" bottun next to the sound you want to change. I don't have mine playing any sound at all. Makes it go faster. As far as the flippers go, this is my first time dealing with an accessible Pinball game, so can't help you there. I'm having a blast though...
make a comment about the game
Hello
Well I guess I will not be too much help at all but I wanted to thank you to have mention this game, I had download a regular of the kind but the one I got was not tested so I am happy to know that there is one and I will download it before the end of the day so thank you very much, after I try it if I feel that I can help you I will make a post ok?
good luckcaptain batman
re: 8 bit.
The old arcades operated on the 8 bit sound. Look up on youtube the old mareo games an and you will hear what I mean. I personally don't love the 8 bit sounds, but man alive, do they bring back memories of when I was 5. Lol!
at Krister Ekstrom
I think I've the same flippers bug. I've played with a sighted guy, and he told me that the flippers are slow to react. When I tap the screen, the flipper starts mooving after one or two second. However, as I sad, I've an old 4s, so maybe that's the issue.
Slow response
I haven't heard that issue before, but it could be. Some of the testers have very old devices, but that problem was never reported. I have one old device in my lab and I'll check it out.
Thanks
Thanks
Anyway, good game!
I think that's my favourite one among the blindfold games. And I would love it even more if I could buy other tables like the crazy machine and the power one! Something with ramps and thunnels, maybe?
Am i misunderstanding things here?
I think i read in the documentation somewhere that if you get over 5000 points you get an extra ball, well i got over 5500 points in dual flippers slow ball and no extra ball was given. Is that a bug or a misreading from my side?
Extra balls
It was a bug and will be fixed in the next version. Thanks for finding the problem.
More tables
I will come out with more tables soon. I am waiting just to make sure the game is popular enough (meaning that people buy the upgrades) to ensure my time is well spent.
Extra ball and a pinball machine suggestion or two
Now others have to chime in if i am wrong, but isn't it like this that extra balls are given for a whole game, not a single ball? Anyways, i love the game as i said earlier. Now i have a couple suggestions for pinball machines: How about a wild west machine, no not like the ones on the Esp Pinball with lots of dialog and so on but with gun shots, horse sounds, maybe a banjo here and there and the occasional "Yeeeeehaaaaa" here and there for good measure. You could also do a haunted house or hotel or something with spooky sounds.
game promotion
Marty and others: Every Wednesday at 1 PM. Eastern time, I host an event at a voice chat site, www.Out-Of-Sight.net in which the participants, in turn, lock their mike key down and use our iDevices to play one round of any game that can be played by one person that has a pause between rounds, such as Blindfold Pinball. Whoever wins the most games or scores the highest total by the end of the event is the winner. Last Wednesday, we used Blindfold Pinball, and some of the people, after hearing the game and trying it, have bought the very reasonably priced unlimited play in app purchase. Not only is this a good way to promote the game, but it's a heck of a lot of fun, too. We have also used Blindfold Bowling. Join the site at no charge, and I hope to see you in one of my events. And be sure to BUY THE In APP PURCHASES!!! They are well worth the money.
faster balls in dual pipper?
Hello, Is it possible to have the average fast and very fast game modes for dual flippers? or is this impossible? thanks, Will
love this game
I've never played pinball before so I'm learning and I love it. good job to the developer and can't wait for more games
I experienced the same issue
Hi Krista. I experienced the same issue as you yesterday. I scored 6385 points and only received 3 balls. I am using an iPhone 6 to play this game.
I'm going through some site
I'm going through some site maintenance for my podcast but here is a temp link for those that want a demo. I assure you that the professional link will be up when I get some dns records and stuff to work. I'll post the podcast link when the site is back up or you can follow @tffppodcast on twitter for more and tffppodcast on facebook as well.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/w0b2inoyyp54xco/a%20look%20at%20blindfold%20pinball.mp3?dl=1
Sorry about this all. But I hope you enjoy the demo as much as I did in making it.
Lag
I'm getting the flipper lag issue as well. My wife says that the flippers don't respond until 2 seconds after they are pressed. Using an IPhone 5s IOS 9.3
fast mode
Yes, I'll add that, and many of the other suggestions in the next release.
No lag here as you can see in
No lag here as you can see in the podcast that will be up on my site soon. I posted a temp link in this thread. Sorry about that. Website maintenance is so much fun! Lol!
Pinball machines pack 2
Pinball Machines pack 2 has disappeared in the latest update. Has anyone else noticed this? I wanted to play using body sounds but was informed I needed this pack in order to play. This was fine in the previous version. Very strange.
body sounds
David - I just checked - pinball machines pack 2 is in the get upgrades screen, and once purchased, those machines should show up in your list. In the version from last week, it was checking for the wrong pack number to give you those features. Email me and I'll give you more details.
Problem solved
The issue is now fixed.
Blindfold Pinball podcast
Hi,
Has someone recorded a podcast on how to play Blindfold Pinnball or not? Is there a podcast for this game or not?
Best,
André
no podcast necessary
The option from the main menu that allows you to hear the action with a verbal description, with the ball stopping as it encounters a new sound, should take the place of a podcast. Reading the game instructional material and using this option is the key to success at this great game. Unfortunately, though, I haven't broken the 10,000 point mark using bonus balls yet, although I am almost there.
Sound Disappearing
Hi, I have found that while playing with voice over on the game will stop playing any sounds, but only sometimes. Other times it works exactly as intended. I have tried messing around with settings but I'm not sure what is causing it. Has anyone else encountered this problem? I'm using the latest version as of December6, 2016.
Yes, I am experiencing the same issue
Yes, I am experiencing the no sound issue as well. As re the previous poster, this isn't happening all the time.
