A list of accessible apps for the Apple TV?

tvOS and Apple TV Apps

Maybe I am just not looking in the right spots on this site, but I was wondering if someone has created a list of what apps are accessible for the newest apple TV? We just got one, and would like to know what is out there, and accessible.

They do not have a category for AppleTV accessibility as far as I know. My suggestion? To start with, download whatever apps your AppleTV will allow you to do once you have signed in to the app store with your Apple ID and test their accessibility. At this point, it's just a matter of trial and error.

Jarrod and others:
While I agree, it would be great if AppleVis had a category for accessible AppleTV apps, this hasn't happened yet. In the mean time, I'd recommend a book by Jonathan Mosen called AppleTV Fourth Generation with VoiceOver. This book, which costs about $20 U.S., has a wealth of information for even experienced blind users of the AppleTV. In the back of the book, Jonathan provides a fairly extensive list of free apps for the AppleTV he has found to be accessible. This is the most comprehensive list of apps I have yet to find for this device. In addition to the list of apps, this book contains some great tips and tricks! I've been using my AppleTV for almost six months now and I definitely learned a thing or two. You can find a link to purchase the book at:

Hope that helps.
