Visual Brailler and braille embossers
Hello,
The description of this app mentioned exporting braille and BRF files. Does anyone know if those files can be exported to a braille embosser? I am very interested and transcribing files directly from my eye device to my braille embosser. I don't know if this is possible yet, but it sure would be nice. I know it is possible to an boss from a notetaker, but I would like to bypass the notetaker altogether and emboss straight from my iPod. Any chance that feature could be included in a future version?
Index
At the 2016 CSUN conference, Index will be announcing how you can print documents directly from your phone with their embossers.
However, this app is not a replacement for DBT just in case you were wondering that. This is a little like mBraille.
Yes and like I
Yes and like I said, you can't open these files on your iPad, you would have to e-mail to yourself, open up your BrailleSense's or BrailleNote's e-mail and then save the attachment. But if somebody else uses Visual Brailler and send you a BRF or BRAILLE file, you could open it in Visual Brailler to read.
Visual Brailler
Hello,
Does anyone know whether Visual Brailler only works in both landscape or portrait mode or if it only works in one of these modes? Also, I have the Speeddots screen protector on my ipad. Does it make a difference if I use the screen protector with this app?
Is there a tutorial on how to
Is there a tutorial on how to use this app? I go into the app and all I get is a braille keyboard in landscape mode. Thanks.
Unable to use
I downloaded it yesterday, and tried to use it. All it would say was the dots that I was doing. And there’s no tutorial on how to use it. Any tips or advice would be appreciated.
