Good morning kind people.
As the subjectline says, do anyone of you can guide me how to transfer my contacts from my old nokia phone to my iPhone6? Is there any short ways to do so?
I was googling and found something like importing to gmail account and grabbing it from there. I think that is more confusing and laborious.
Awaiting for a easy way to do so.
Thanks in advance.
Raaj.

Try your cell phone carrier
I know in the past I took my Nokia phone to my provider and they have a docking station that transferred all the contacts in under a minute. Then you can go in and clean up duplicates or change field labels.
Cell phone carrier.
I'm sorry, they don't do that here in India to my knowledge.
Also, I wish I can do that on my own.

An idea
Here's a forum post that, I think, addresses what you want to do.

PhoneCopy
Hi
I used PhoneCopy in order to transfer contacts from my Nokia to my iPhone.
Hope that helps.

it's easier than that
Your .vcf file can be automatically imported from IOS without any other software. If you can put it somewhere such that you have a link to it, simply open that link in safari and the phone will give you the option to merge the contents of that file with your current contacts. You could use a dropbox public link, an http server, or any other simple internet file system for this.
VCF format.
If I'm creating a foulder with all the contacts with VCF format and if I'm clicking that dropbox link, via safari, will it be giving merging option? If so, I can do that easily by myself. I'll try that tomorrow and let you know.
Thank you for this suggestion.

Found a good and easy solution.
Hello kind people,
I found a very easy solution for copying vcf format aka contact card from older nokia to iPhone. I hope this may be useful for some. Here are the steps.
1. Copy all the vcf files into one foulder and name it as you like. I'm naming it as vcfcontacts for an example.
2. Go to the command prompt and type the path of your foulder.
Example: d: vcfcontacts.and hit enter.
It will land on your foulder.
3. Type the following command.
Copy *.vcf combined.vcf
And hit enter. There ends the matter. All your contacts will be found into your foulder as combined.vcf.
After that, you can put that combined.vcf file into dropbox and open that file. Give share and in which you can see the option save to contacts. Just double tap. All your contacts will be copied in a few seconds.
If you have any doubt, feel free to message me private via email. Shooshma@gmail.com
