Hi. Doesn't the watch already come with a charging stand? I thought that the watch came with a stand.

I don't know much about the apple watch stand but are you able to connect your apple watch to iTunes? If you purchased a new apple product such as an apple watch or an iPhone, the package should include both a USB cable and a charging stand for your apple watch.

I'll link to the stand recommended to me when I got an Apple Watch, the small one. Not sure if you need a different stand for the larger watch. the stand has a circle that the charger slips into, so you can then snap the watch right to the cradle. Very handy.

Hi Will,

Speaking from experience, I'd recommend the Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Dock, manufactured by Apple. This link should take you to the appropriate page in the UK Apple Online Store: http://www.apple.com/uk/shop/product/MLDW2ZM/A/apple-watch-magnetic-charging-dock

Basically, the Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Dock is a small, pancake-shaped device with an inductive charging puck, to which you can attach the Watch in either Nightstand Mode orientation or flat (with the face facing upward). The dock comes with a Lightning cable, and this connects into a port on the back of the dock.

Hope this helps,

Michael

Hi. I know you said you liked the 38 MM watch, but for any intrested, the reviews of that charging stand, specify that yes, the 42 version does work fine. I don't have a watch to use, but I thought someone wasn't sure about the larger size. Whatever you decide, good luck.
