This app brings resources, and services to the blind community. Enjoy audio descriptive programs and much more. New features are being added all the time. There is no other app that will bring you quick resources the way this does. Anything from information on games, hobbies, movies, podcast, and much more.
Many enjoy using this app for getting new podcast on information. I would say even though this is a new app, and lots of podcast are going to be addded. This is a good app to have your hands on.

What would be nice is
What would be nice is if there was a free version that people can try and they can upgrade to a pro version? So far this app sounds interesting.
apps
The app is going to be well worth what it is for sure. Many great features are yet to come to.
Question
Is this an aggregator or a repository?
If it is a repository, disseminating audio described content for such a small fee is illegal, isn't it?
question
This is why no movies are on this app. Leagle matters are to be taken care of before anything like that can be done. However this is being worked on. Good question though. But nothing with this app isn't against any laws and such. This is why they have podcast starting out. But this is way more than just about movies. There are many great things ahead with this app. Anytime something is done with any app there are requirements to be met, and nothing will ever be posted or created against any codes of law. Also you got to follow apples guide lines as well, and they make sure you are following them every step of the way. Anyways I wanted to try and answer your question the best I could.
The blind community
This app is amazing i talked to the person who started this whole thing and i half to say he seems more eager to get something like this off the ground than i have ever herd someone be before
I this is a great app with great potenchel and i think this could turn into something that should have been started 10 years ago
This app has a good mission
I checked out this app. Even though i wasnt sure i would like it. I found out how easy it was to use, and i love it. The app right now covers some really good podcast helping other blind users and giving some really good information. Also the app will be getting some really nice updates soon as well. I did notice a couple others saying it wasn't accessible and so on, and how it was a waste. This is not true. I also say it's only 1.99, and for what the app does, and what they are doing. It makes it worth it. Not every app can be free, and sometimes apps cost do to the cost it takes the person to make it public and such. Anyways i love the app, voice over reads all the buttons to me with no problem.
What can this thing do that
What can this thing do that iBlink radio can't already do for free.
Sure you pay for a samnet subscription that does the same thing.
Why reinvent the wheel.
I read somewhere iBlink radio will soon change their name to sero, which happens to mean connect, that will basicly let you connect to samnet from any of the devices it supports.
So unless this app can do different things, you're just attempting to reinvent the wheel.
Movies, serotek does that, podcasts? yep, they do that too.
News and information? they do that too.
Until this can do something else that serotek haven't done in the past 15 years why use it?
well to be honest I think
well to be honest I think there are a lot of businesses and so on that have similar services but it doesn't mean trash them. Some will like it and some won't And I also know they are doing it different You will see that in time. I also don't know why people want to hate. It's honestly not a way to be But I will continue to use this app. Just because I see the purpose behind it.
Time to stop the disingenuous posts
It’s now very clear that a number of the comments in this thread (and the related App Directory entry) which claim to come from different people are in fact originating from the same source.
These posts use almost identical ways to promote/defend the blind community app and the people behind it. They appear to share a very identifiable writing style. Similar replies are commonly crossposted to both the app directory entry and forum topic. Some of the posts are from newly-created accounts where the user is only posting comments about this app. In addition, some of the information available to us about the originating source of the post and the poster is suspicious.
In short, there are numerous clues which point towards shill-like behavior.
This leaves us with no other option than to demand that these posts stop immediately.
If it does not, we will be left with 3 options - removing any posts that we believe to be from people directly involved with this app or connected to them; closing this post to further comments; or removing and barring discussion of this app from this site.
It would be very disappointing if such extreme action were to become necessary. It is certainly something that we have never come close to having to do in the past. However, if we want to preserve AppleVis as being a place where people can share open and honest discussion, then we simply cannot allow this sort of disingenuous behavior to continue.
Of course, this does not bar people from posting positive comments about this app or the people behind it. We certainly have no reason to question the intentions of the app or or its potential to be of interest and value to members of our community.
All that we ask is that if you are directly connected with the blind community app, you be upfront and honest about it. This is true for any developer that comes onto AppleVis.
**** Note that some posts from newly-created accounts have already been removed and the accounts deleted, as the intent was clearly to skew discussion by flooding it with fake testimonials for the app.
