Hello all,
The recent discussions on crossword puzzels got me thinking about seein if anyone knew of an accessible find a word game? Find a word puzzels are the ones that have a grid of random letters in which you have to find words mixed in all the random letters. The words can be from left to right, right to left, up or down and diagonal. When I was younger and had sight I used to do these on those long car trips when going on vacation with the family. Any reccomendations will be appreciated.

may be difficult with Voice-Over
A game like this is doable using eyesight where you can see the whole page at once. This is a personal opinion, but I would think that it would be very difficult to keep track of using Voice-Over. I used to write them onto a sheet of braille paper or more, then work them, and like the game idea. If such a game becomes available that is Voice-Over friendly, I would like to give it a try.
Accessible letter soup
I published Accessible letter soup last year for iPhone and iPad.
You have to find some hidden words in a grid.
You can find this game in the AppStore http://www.appstore.com/accessiblelettersoup
I Was Thinking of This But ...
I have this app on my phone. The problem I've had is that if I leave the game before completing it, everything I've done is lost. There are times when I would like to be able to take a few minutes to find a few words, but don't have time to complete an entire game. I'd love it if unfinished games could be saved. I love word search puzzles and my biggest complaint is that it's pretty much impossible to find them in braille. So, if it would be possible to work out a way to save games, that would make a great game even better.
new feature for Accessible letter soup
Wow, nobody reported me that bug. I will add that feature in the next version. Thanks for your feedback
