Need guidance about accessible weather apps

Hi, all, up until recently--until the last update, I have used weather bug quite successfully without a problem; however, since the last update, this has not been the case. It wants you to sign in for some reason and doesn't read the temperatures. It reads everything else but that and that is weird. If this app is possibly no longer usable to the totally blind, what is another good informative and easy to use weather app? Thanks and have a blessed day.

Hi Jamie,

If you're in the U.S., I really like Weather Simple – Clear, concise forecasts. I've corresponded with the developer via e-mail, and he is very interested in making sure the app is fully accessible to VoiceOver users. Right now, there are a couple minor issues with the app (detailed in the AppleVis iOS App Directory link above), but I have been assured that those issues will be resolved and the developer is very open to feedback.

Another weather app to consider, if you're in the U.S. or Canada, is Weather Office. It's also very accessible, and there are both free and paid versions available in the App Store.

If you're outside the U.S. or Canada, unfortunately the best option we've found is the included iOS Weather app. (If any users outside the U.S. or Canada read this and have other recommendations, please do chime in!)

I really like the check the weather app. The developer is responsive, and it has a lot of features in a nice interface for voiceover.
