I just got an AppleWatch for Christmas, and am really excited to shop for some accessories.
I know that Apple Watch has been constantly criticized because of its battery life, so I'm wondering if I should get some add-ons to prevent that.

battery life
For me my watch lasts all day and has lots left over at the end of each day. I use the watch when I am awake and when I am sleeping my watch goes on the charger. For me this works good and in my opinion if your watch lasts all day and you can charge it at night then you don't need battery watch bands unless you are going to be somewhere without plug ins for more then one day then external battery packs or battery watch bands may be a good idea. I would go with a battery pack over a battery watch band because then I can also charge my phone and what ever other devices I have with me.

Another thing you can consider is a backpack or purse with a built in solar panel.
My 10 year old has a backpack with a built in panel that also has a built in battery backup. Indoor lights are strong enough for his devices to charge.
