Has anybody tried the iOS trivia game called “Stop”?

Hi all,
Has anybody tried the game stop? From what I can tell, it is a trivia crack type game, that is, you have a time limmit and you have to compete for dominance with cleverness and haste. It is a word game where you are given catagories and you're given a letter and you you have to type, yes type, a word that starts with that letter and that matches that category. It looks somewhat accessiible, but it also seems like one of those things where the app developer didn't format their buttons correctly, so it says something like:
country
button
city
button where the word is not next to the button. If anyone tries it and has any opinions on it, let us know. Thanks

Hello,
I have tried the game and here's what I've found. The screen you have described is not the screen you play the words on. The screen you describe is the category selection screen. There is a button above the categories that says "Start game" Once this button is pressed, the categories are suffled and the categories for your game are selected. One of the tips says there are sometimes power-ups behind the category names, but I have found this part to be inaccessible. After the categories have been selected, you are sent to a screen with a spinner of letters on it. This spinner is completely inaccessible. The only way I have found to make it work is to turn voice over off. Once a letter has been selected, you are told the letter and have 3 seconds before the game begins. Once the game begins, voice over only announces "Text field.." You have to run your finger up the side about a half inch from the far right side to hear the categories and identify which text field is active. Then type in your anser. There is a next button on the on-screen keyboard, but again only "Text field" is announced. Overall, I find that while voice over does speak most things on the pages, it's quite difficult to navigate.
Just my thoughts,
Mel

Hi, I have a different opinion than the prior one. I love this game, but I have to admit that I play it with a Bluetooth keyboard on my ipad cause as it is a time game you have to be competitive to your opponents.
The main screen has no problem, when you start a game the first screen is the category shuffle and that screen is mostly inaccessible because even though VO reads all categories, there is no way to know which ones have been selected; there for you only have to look for the start button.
The next screen is the letter selection (only if it is your turn to do so, cause in a match, this is alternated between the two players), and there’s a roulette with letters in the centre of the screen, so without turning off voiceover, you can spin it by moving your finger nearby the centre of the screen until you find a letter, once you do so tap the screen twice and keep the finger there in the second tap and move your finger in the clock or contraclockwise direction with some speed and then release and you will hear the sound of the roulette spinning until it stops selecting one letter.
To look for the letter you can then quickly tap once nearby the bottom of the screen and a letter will be read out for you, that is the letter you will be playing with.
Then the next screen will prompt automatically and a countdown sound will be announcing the start of the game.
There you can move to the top of the screen where you can again hear the letter with which you are playing and then swipe right or left in the screen to read the categories and find the edit field to right down the word.
I think you have 60 seconds to fill in all categories but I’m not sure about the time. Once the time has passed the next screen is prompt automatically and it will show your answers and from there until the next round everything is accessible.
From the playing screen there’s a button or option that stops the clock when you’re finished to let your opponent without time to answer but it is inaccessible and not even appears for voiceover, so to press it you need to deactivate voiceover and try to tap once on the left side of the screed and drag the button from top to bottom and if you do it the right way a pop sound will let you know you have stopped the clock.

Hope this helps you to play the game, if not please let me know.

Hi Karen. I downloaded the game and I have some questions. How many edit fields should there be? 5 for each? It's a little tricky. Any help would be appreciated.

When you're playing a game, the letter you have to use is at the top. Then if you swipe right, there's a category and when you click it the text field for it opens. If you swipe left from an activated text field you can find the category.
