I'm the owner of a new mac, I got it a couple of months ago.
I have a question.
How do you open apps that are not verified by apple?
I have VLC on my mac and i'm unsure how to open it.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Vo shift m on the app, and
Vo shift m on the app, and choose open. You need only do this once.
