Playlists

iOS and iPadOS

OK, I want to explain my situation here. I have been using the iPhone for about 3 and a half, almost 4 years now. The whole time I've used my iPhone, I've had all my music together and just shuffled the entirety of it and hit play. I've always been curious about playlists but couldn't ever get it to make sense when I looked it up, how to create and deal with them. I've always thought it would be cool to make my own themed playlists on the iPhone. But I have not a clue how to do it. Now, I have an Apple Watch and am considerin putting some songs on there. I don't need to do that, but it might be cool sometimes. But since I don't know how to deal with playlists, I don't know how to go about doing that. I know most people make their playlists using iTunes. But I would really like to be able to do mine on the iPhone unless it's just insanely more difficult to do so. I still want to be able to shuffle my whole music collection sometimes, but it would be nice to have songs in their own playlists too. Like, slow songs. Fast songs. Songs to go on my Apple Watch. Things like that. Honestly, it would be nice to learn how to make playlists on the iPhone and the computer both. I'm using iTunes with Windows and JAWS primarily. But learning how to make them on the phone seems like it would be easier because if I'm going through my music and feel like adding a song to a playlist right there on the spot, I could do that. Some help with understanding the whole thing in general would be great. I feel like I should have grasped this somehow a long time ago but just gave up on it every time I tried to make sense of it. Thank you all so much in advance!

OK. Hope this helps. In recent iTune with W7, jaws 15. alt f go to new folder open with right arrow and go up to create list. name your list. control 1 will put you in music where you have your music be it albums, artist or songs. My is albums. I go to an album, tab to where you can se the songs or f6 will put you there. Select your song, shift f10 or application key will give you a menu up arrow to add song to list. If you create more than one list, it will tell you which you have.

Hi Amber :)
Let me start saying congratulation for your new Apple Watch, well I have created Playlists on the iPhone for a long time through many iOS versions, this method works okay for me but I'm very sure there couple ways to do it.
Probably this method is not the easier or faster but it's useful, okay lets jump to the practice:
Step #1
Open Music/ My Music/ Library
Step #2
Set your Category as Songs/ Select one of the songs from the list/ select MORE/ Add to a Playlist/ New Playlist/ type the TITLE [ NOTE on this windows seens to be like a edit button selecting Add Songs, and picking one of the categories to your choice by: Artists, Albums, Songs, etcetera, Select all the music that you want add to your Playlist and click Done].
before to move to the next step when you are selecting the Music voiceOver in iOS9.2 will not read back to you what Music is selected however on the top will announce the
number of songs that you have added from the list.
Now you have created a Playlist
Probably you will ask the following:
How add or remove Music from the Playlist?
From Playlists located at the top of the screen
Step #3
Select the playlist from the list that just you created/ select EDIT
Step #4
Pick your selection from the choices/ per example add songs pick one of the options from the list by: Artists, Albums, Songs, etcetera
Select all the Music from the list and click DONE
To remove only the difference will unselecting the Music from the list and click DONE.
