Formatted documents

Hello everyone! I need some advice. Can you please suggest an app with which I can take notes on my iPad? I prefer something that is universal and not a native iPhone or iPod Touch app. I need an app that will allow me to format documents as I write them. The formatting of documents needs to be preserved when those documents are being viewed on a PC. I want the app to sync my files to Dropbox as well. Lastly, the app has to be capable of letting me write my documents off line and then when online, synchronize to Dropbox. Thanks for any advice! I know I sound quite picky, but I need this app for school.

Your request sounds like the Pages App by Apple. It syncs via iCloud when online, allows you to create formatted pages while offline, and can export to a PC or Mac computer.

Apple's Pages app isn't that accessible with VO on the iPHone or any of it's platforms unfortunetly. However I use IA Writer and it works great. I also use the notes app just for taking notes that I don't want to format. There are not any good suggestions for note taking apps for the blind at this point until the AFB note taking app comes out and people test it. I use a braille note apex for note taking in all of my classes that need formatting and I'm thinking about letting it go when this AFB app comes out because it is suuposed to be everything that a braille note taker is now. We'll have to see about that one.

Thank you both for your suggestions. I have tried iAWriter, but the interface seems somewhat complicated to me. After I have finished writing my document, how do I save it? There do not seem to be any options for saving or editing on my iPad's screen. Second, can I write a document and save it directly to my iPad, then sync it to my Dropbox folder later on?
