Kindle app and braille display.

Hi everyone,

I've been experiencing a strange issue with the Kindle app while reading in braille and I was wondering if anyone else has dealt with this. While reading and getting close to the end of a page, the display will jump back up to the start of the same page instead of flipping to the next one. Has anyone had this happen? If so, any fixes?

The app may be a little glitchy. Braille displays these days are a little too frustrating, especially to me.
I think that I downloaded this app before but didn't really have that much luck.
I think iBooks might be a good fit for you if you like the braille display to flip the pages for you.

Hello, no I am using the Kindle app and have had no problems like that. I am using an iPhone 5s and I have a Focus blue 40.

The good news is that I can't duplicate this, so my reading is ok, the bad news is that I can't duplicate it so I'm not really able to help. Have you tried loading more than one different title and are still seeing this? Have you restarted your iDevice? I'm running iOS 9.2 and the latest version of the Kindle app on an iPhone 6S. I'm currently using a braille sense u2, but the display won't matter. They all behave the same way.

Thank you everyone for your replies. I am also having another issue I figured I'd mention. When I'm reading with voiceover, spaces are being put in between letters in words. Like the word evolution would have a space between the letters L and you. It makes reading annoying because words are being broken up. When someone cited looks at my screen, they say they don't notice anything. Has anyone experienced this?

When I use my braille display with Kindle, I do notice the spaces between the letters of words. It didn't always used to be like that but it is now and I don't know why. I haven't noticed that with voice over though. I don't usually use voice over but when I Have it hasn't done that.

It's not every book but seems to be happening more frequently lately. It's annoying lol. Thanks for your reply.

I thought this was a content issue, and I'm starting to think so even more now. Are the types of books you are encountering this issue with ones that have some kind of image on them, or maybe some kind of interactive content? I know this is a challenge for textbooks in particular. I have noticed the spacing as well, but just deal with that.

hi,

nomarly I use IBooks and I'm full pleased with it. But I've noticed that kindle has few books more. well, i don't want leave IBooks but If a book will realase which is only available on kindle I want to use it. Just for fun I test kindle for 7 days and I noticed it's 100% accessible with VO. But I noticed also that the navigation on kindle is a little bit strange. I use a Focus blue 40 braille display and until today I don't find out how I find the directory which you switch between the diferent chapters.
