Upgrading To New Apple TV

Howdy Folks!

I am about to retire my old Apple TV to upgrade to a new 4TH Generation model. Before I do that, I want to make sure that my old Apple TV is ready to pass along, in case I decide to find it a new home.

besides signing out of my NetFlicks account, is there anything else I should do? I know that computers should be deauthorized in my iTunes account. the thing is, when I looked at my account, I found my computer, an iPhone, an iPod and an iPad, but no Apple TV, even though I used my Apple TV to access iTunes under my Apple ID. Does the Apple TV need to be deauthorized?

Also, on the new Apple TV, if I have the device connected to the Internet via Ethernet, will it still ask me to port my WiFi settings and the like from my iPhone to the new Appple TV?

You should reset your apple tv back to factory settings if you are going to resell it. check in your settings to find that feature or connect it to iTunes
