Hello!

In ios 9.2 I read that it has support for voiceover to wake up the screen.

What does it mean?

What I think it means is that in iOS9 Voiceover no longer read the time when you unlocked your screen. That feature is supposedly working again in iOS 9.2.

Actually it has not been fixed. You have to press the lock button maybe thrice to get it to work. I'm still in the beta program so I know it has not been fixed. I reported this after I reported the feedback that the announcing of time should be disabled so we'll see what happens.

Hello,

It works fine on my iphone 6 running IOS 9.2. But on my iPhone 5 on IOS 9.1, it does not.

With the 9.2, I press the lock or home button once and the screen wakes up, then VO announces the time.

HTH and good luck.

Hi,
Yeah, it works perfectly on my 5S running 9.2. Actually the only time it would announce the time in 9.1 was when notifications were on the screen.
HTH.

ON a 4S running iOS9.2, the time comes up speaking when I press either Home or the Lock/Unlock button on the phone.
