Hi, what ever happened to a version of RS games for iOS? I tried emailing the developers at RS games and no answer. I sent them an email because I wanted to ask them about trying to release a version for iOS. This would be the best thing that could ever happen. We have one for Windows, Mac, and Linick's. Why can't we have one for iOS as well? Maybe, they can also make an android version? If you are a person who works for RS games and is on the development team, please post a comment below. I would love to know what you have to say.
Thank U.

i doubt
I doubt they'll do that. There are certain things that just work better on computers. RSGames is one of them. Yes, it would be neet if they released a version of the client for iOS. Will it happen? Probably not.
You might as well drop the
You might as well drop the topic. They are not interested in it just now. They have no devs and no money to fund theeproject. This has been an ongoing discussion for years ande I droppped it when I found they had no interest in it. And frankly nor do I at this point. There are other matters of ios that need to be considered not just gamming.
It would be great. but I don't think it will happen.
I would love to see RS games for IOS, But I don't see it happening any time soon. At least we have other games for IOS.
RSS Games for iOS
I was under the impression that some of these games could be played through a web interface in one's browser and thus wouldn't need some special software to be downloaded onto one's computer or device.
Doesn't voiceOver speak enough in Saffari to make these games useable that way on an iOS device?

What are
What are rs games?
for those not familiar...
Rs games is a series of games developed by a group of blind people, made accessible for everyone. I can't rightly say where the name rs came from, but to play, all a person needs to do is download the windows or mac client, create an account and log in. it's free. as for the iOS app, that's another one not likely to happen, just like the non-existant iOS app for Applevis. It's not that people don't want to do it, but it takes lots and lots of skills, development and testing to make sure an app is the best it can be. That takes lots of cash. A developer has to pay 99 bucks a year just for the ability to submit and develop apps. So if you want an app to be created for something, that's a hundred bucks spent right there, and the app hasn't even been developed yet. I'm not saying all this to be mean, I'm simply attempting, as best as I can to illustrate why people are saying the things they are. They're not saying all this to be mean, it's just that the people involved don't have the necessary cash flow and resources to allow an app to happen, at least right now.
It would be nice, but.....
First, while it's clunky, you can play RS Games on Safari. You will not be able to use any keyboard shortcuts, and the sounds won't work, but it is playable if you are very patient. I seem to recall RS's devs actually stating on Twitter at one point that they have no plans of creating an iOS version at any point in the future. While I can speak for them, and would never want to, I gather that some of it is due to time constraints, since they're not making a lot of money off of it, and as TuneHead pointed out, it does require investment financially, not to mention time. If RS were to do anything, I wish they would actually make their games playable with VoiceOver and a screen reader on Windows that would allow for braille support. Certain parts of the blind population not even being able to play would seem a bigger issue than iOS, but when I approached RS about this, I was told to get a coclear implant.... Right. I'm going to have a surgery to play RS that involves my head being cut open... Not so much.
RS games for IOS
RS games for IOS would be cool
Everyone thinks this, but...
Everyone agres RS Games would be cool as an iOS app. but it simply is not going to happen any time soon, no ifs, cans or buts about it in its current state. The developers simply do not have the proper resources, cash, or proper time to invest in an app in the way they want it to be. So the closest you'll probably ever get is to play through the Safari web browser. Or, if you have a Mac, there's a mac app available.
Do rs games
Do rs Games have audio games?
nope
Nope, not audio-only, they mostly have card games like Uno, monopoly and such.
They're kind of audio
The games that are on RS could be considered audio as there are sound effects and music, but there's no three-dimensional audio games. I haven't played them, but this is just what I've read. As I understand it, if you have ever played Dice World, the games are in a way similar to that.
