Hi, I'm looking at purchasing a Sonos speaker and I was just wondering if anyone on here has a Sonos system and if so how easy is it to set up and is there iOS app accessable using voiceover? Thanks in advance for any replies
hi i have a whole sonos system sub and two play 5's ios app is accessible
the only part thats not too accessible is adding services i use the mac client for that but
Hi there I have a Playbar and 2 Play 1's acting as surround speakers and I found the setup an absolute doddle. As has already been said adding services in the AP is a bit tricky but it is possible to do it.
how do you add services using the mac app? None of the buttons, or very few, seem to be labeled, or do anything. or, how do you select source to play from? That's what I can't figure out. I can figure out how to add services, but that's it. still, none of the buttons are labeled! :)
hi not accessible on mac i tried writing the dev but they said they would make it accessible but nothing happened yet
the only thing thats accessible is adding services
Hi, As others have said the iOS app is pretty accessible.
I have two additional observations:
Setup of a speaker or playbar or sub is accessible except there is one instruction that say press buttons and there is a graphic. In the instances of setting up a Play:1 and a Playbar I have found the graphic means to press the play/pause button and the volume up button together.
Second, as I mentioned in the AppleVis Sonos Controler directory listing, the new Trueplay tuning feature is currently blocked for VoiceOver users. http://www.applevis.com/apps/ios/music/sonos-controller
I don't know how useful this feature actually is but I hope to try it someday.

I have one as well I love it to death! Probably my most used electronic piece now. I have a play five and to play ones set up is a stereo pair.
