I would first like to mention that I have been using an iPhone for a while now, since my iOS 4s and iOS 6) I vaguely remember having something similar to this happening or being a choice a long time ago. I recently upgraded my 5c to 9.1 and now every capital letter, instead of just having a slight inflection to denote that it is upper case, says "cap" before saying the letter.
I combed through voice over, speech and puntuation settings. I also turned the pitch on and off, , which also didn't work. I couldn't find out where to turn this off.... Does anyone know the answer to this issue?

unfortunately in the hebrewlaunguage it' not heppand. hah/
annoying cap cap thing.
I feel not only this cap cap thing is annoying. I also feel the hashtag is also. wherever the # symbol is appearing, the voiceover is reading it as hashtag. lol.
Raaj.
I've heard from some people
I've heard from some people using an iPhone that it has always been like this and from another person who is using an iPad that this is not happening for them. You know what it is like when something has been the same way for forever and it changes and then you think about it ... wait ... when did it first start happening? Or, that is the way for me anyway.
Am I just going barmy and imagining things or what?
