I don’t have the Use compact voices option

Apologies if this has been queried before but I don’t seem to have the Turn compact voices option listed. . When I go into the voiceover settings it’s not there. I think it’s supposed to be somewhere between change voice rate and the brail option but it’s nowhere to be found under my settings. Can anyone tell me why this is and what I can do about it? I’m using IOS 5 on the IPhone 4 Any help would be grate thanks. Lou

Hi Lou Into voiceOver settings will find one option named Use Compact Voice, it needs to be on, if isn't. If it shows up off, just do double tap on it. The Use Compact voice option is located between Use Pitch and Braille. Note the Compact Voice feature is bilt on iOS 5 or later. You said iPhone 4 iOS 5, to see the iOS Version go to: Settings/ General/ About/ Version. Sent by Marco from my iPhone

The ios is up to date so that’s not the problem But when I say the compact voice option is not there I don’t mean its set as off it’s just not there. It’s odd I know but everyone else I know using the same phone and the same ios version as I do has it but I don’t Thanks for your help though Lou

Hi Lou it is something wiier, i will give you two possible alternatives but please don't do the last one before listen others recomendationes: one. Most of the times when call to apple costumer support recoment turn off the device by one hour and then turn on after all,sometimes it works and sometimes doesn't Hope this first recommendation works for you. please don't do the fallowing recommendation before listen other optiones, two Reset all settings on the iPhone, "Note Reset all settings doesn't erase data or any information from the device" after that just fallow the steps that iPhone will give to you.

Hello, The reason why you are not seeing the compact voice option is because you do not have the high quality voice. To get the high quality voice plug in your phone into a power outlet and make sure you are connected to a wifi network. Hope this helps.
