With Inverted Colors On, how to get a white text on black background Home and Lock screen?

Low Vision Accessibility on Apple Products

Hi,
I have Inverted Colors turned on for higher contrast, on my iPhone 6 (iOS 9). So, most of the screens are white on black. However, the Home & Lock screens have a white background. I have not figured out how to make the Home and Lock screens white on black as well. I've tried taking a picture of something white and use it as the Home/Lock screen, but when it's inverted on the Home and Lock screen, it just turns the screens into a grey color. I'd really appreciate it if anyone has any suggestions.

I have long been wondering the same. Also have tried what you have. I hope someone has a solution. Thanks for asking.

I'm a low-vision user. What I ended up doing was going into settings>wallpaper>select a color which shows a dark background with white letters. I also have my triple-click home button set to the invert color option.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try that again. I'm a low vision user too, and also have the triple click to invert colors on. That one feature is the reason I switched back to iOS from Android smartphones. Triple clicking to invert colors is invaluable to me.

Hi Matt you are incorrect with that statement as you can set tripple click to change colours on a Samsung Galaxy phone these days or you can set it for both Talkback and invert colours just like IOS. Anyway to stay on topic with this thread! I would recommend that you take a picture of a white wall and use that as a back ground for the screen lock.
