Accessibility Comments

This app work pretty well, There are plenty of Vo hints to help newer users too. If you are playing a song, the track menu to the right of the song will give you the options of adding to playlist, starting track radio, etc. Playing songs and searching for music works well. skipping back and forth to tracks works well. you can always hit back enough time to get to the menu butten. The dev has continued to fix Voiceover issues since I started using this app last year, so dual buttons have mostly gone away.

VoiceOver Performance

VoiceOver reads all page elements.

Button Labeling

Most buttons are clearly labeled.

Usability

There are some minor accessibility issues with this app, but they are easy to deal with.

Other Comments

Sound Quality is top notch. *Requires a credit card to get the free trial and Amex is not excepted.) One option is to use Paypal. Its my personal streaming music choice. Highly recommended.

One way to add files to a playlist or mark anything really is to use the web player located at:
http://listen.tidalhifi.com
I've found that IE10 and Jaws16 work well together. There is no way to use this in Chrome from what I could find. Chrome jaws and Tidal do not play nice together, starting with the fact I could not get audio out of Chrome. when I tried to access the settings part of the Tidal player on Chrome I couldn't get any further past the settings butten. nothing else on the screen appeared to have changed. but Chrome is the only Browser to offer lossless streaming. I haven't tried firefox yet. The PC version of the Tidal app is an entire screen of unlabeled buttens once you manage to sign in, so that option is out as well. the web player by far is the most accessible way to use tidal, followed next by the iPhone. BTW, you must have flash installed to use the web player or PC app.

the add to playlist issues reported above for Voiceover users has been fixed. Tap the add to playlist butten and choose your playlist. works great! also, more helpful hints has been added for Voiceover users without my asking. .

hmmmm. you know, I don't see a way to add that either. it'd also be nice if VO announced when you added a track to the favorits from the contect menu. If I were you, I'd contact support. they'll most likely add it in the next update. the VO developer is good about adding anything that I point out that is missing. you will need sited help to contact support though, as that part of the website wont let you select certain things.

Has anyone used this on a MAC and, if so, how does it work. Can't tell from the comments above whether it's Windows and JAWS that don't work or the web interface being inaccessible.
Thanks

At last check (and this was last year), it is the Windows version that is inaccessible. the web player works well. I do not own a Mac, so others will have to chime in here. Hope this helps

Not sure about if VO works with Tidal on the Mac. But if you have twitter you can ask them @TidalHiFi.

It looks like the prices have dropped. On their website today, it showed the monthly HiFi has dropped to $19.99, and the premium is $9.99.

Hi. Small problem. When I'm in a album or playlist I used to be able to share the tracks add tracks to a playlist and everything else. Now when I go to a album or playlist I just see the track name and no way to share or anything else for that track. Only work around I can think of to do is search the song and do what I want with it when I'm in the search results. That's the only way to make things work normally.
Am I missing something or is there a accessibility team I can contact about this problem?
