help with itunes and billing issue

hi guys.
I tried to play some music in itunes. but it said something about a credit card problem.
I tried calling apple. but I didn't get any help from that.
I don't own a credit card.
I purchased my items via an itunes gift card.
can someone please help?

Hello John:

First of all, if you purchased iTunes with this gift card then they are yours and you can do with them as you wish. However, if the gift card was used to purchase an Apple Music subscription for a month, assuming the gift card balance is used up, then you will have to enter a credit card and reactivate the Apple Music subscription again before you can use all of the Apple Music options.

now I can't get free apps.
I am serously considering getting a new apple i d.
I am sharing one with my dad.
we've had ours ever since I got my iphone back in 2011.
can someone help?
btw theres no none radio button in the list of credit card types.
is this a bug with apple?
