Description of App
AUDIO RALLY RACING is an audiogame about car rally racing, in which you can experience the thrill of speed and reckless driving on country roads and city streets.
Game elements
First you choose a car, then you can start competing in the various races and circuits available. Most of the items are available beginning in 'SINGLE PATH - SINGLE CIRCUIT' mode. Many others can only be played in TOURNAMENT mode, completing the circuits and winning them.
The navigator is an important element of the game: he (or she) will give us the necessary instructions to be able to drive at full speed, pointing out the curves and other obstacles on the way.
Each route consists in straight roads, in variable lenghts, and curves, also variable in their difficulty.
How to play
At the beginning of the session, press WITH ONE FINGER to start the race.
Press WITH FOUR FINGERS to enable or disable the music.
Once the race has started ā hear the roar of the engine -, you can drive using the keyboard arrows. HOLD WITH ONE FINGER: accelerator, you increase the speed
RELEASE THE FINGER: brakes, speed goes down
TILT RIGHT: steer right
TILT LEFT: steer left.
Important note: follow the voice of the navigator telling you when to steer left or right, and also giving indications about the difficulty of the curve.
Holes: to be avoided by steering your car from the center of the road to the sides.
Mud: can't be avoided, reduces manouverability.
Jumps: you need to adjust your speed depending on its height, otherwise you crash and your speed goes to 0.
Uphill/downhill: reduce/increase speed.
NEW: Championship Mode
You start from the first track in the first country, then you need to finish them all, one country after the other, accumulating points. If you complete the full set within one gameplay, you will unlock two further tracks. If you finish them all, you will become World Champion!

Love this
I am loving this game!! I just downloaded it for my iOS device, since I rather have it on here. However this game is awesome! Especially since you can't complete the track at your own pace. Not like audio speed racing I am still having some difficulty. However since I can complete the track at my own pace, I will manage. Anyway, I was waiting for this game for a long time. In fact, since I heard about the Mac version. Very good game.
Loving it as well
Hey all.
Many thanks for the great comments. As promised, a podcast will be available soon about the iOS version of this game. So, I highly suggest you and everyone to go for this unique racing game and wait for the podcast to know if the game is worth buying or not.
Enjoy. :)
Well, I only got through one
Well, I only got through one race but this feels more real then the computer. Lol! Perhaps I'll do podcast in a few weeks when I get time to breathe. I'm n the middle of working on a book which should be released September 30 of this year.
If you're
Hi Sarah, if you're having trouble completing tracks, use the last car which is the speed ace. Is very slow, it basically has everything on bad. However it is a great learning car. When you get used to speed ace, you can change to other faster cars. I managed to complete two tournaments with dead eagle, and one with power blaze. Awesome game!!! The patience was worth it.
I actually use the first car
I actually use the first car as faster for me I have more control, not sure why, but yeah. Plus I think that's the one I beta tested the mac game with way way back in march, or was it April? I can't remember lol!
2 Questions
Hi! I love racing games but I was a little frustrated when I couldn't do more than level 30 on blindfold racer, I think due to development mistakes.. that's why I have to be pretty sure that this will be an extraordinary game for its extraordinary price... so my 2 questions are:
1. does it worth its cost? compared to other racing games
2. I have read you can use the arrow keys to control the car, so does it mean I can use my bluetooth keyboard to play? has anybody done this?
Thanks.
Undecided whether to get the IOS version
Hi! I already have the Windows version of Audio Rally Racing, so I'm undecided whether to get the IOS version as well. I also have Audio Speed, a spaceship racing IOS game by the same developer, and I'm not very good at that, so I might crash just as much in Audio Rally Racing if I play it on my iPhone. I'm reasonably good at Audio Rally Racing on my PC. Maybe I should wait for the promised podcast before I make a decision, that might help me make it.
It is
It is much more realistic in the iOS version. Also you'll get a sense of speed of the car. On another level, it is incredible how realistic how this game is.
I didn't exactly doa podcast
I didn't exactly doa podcast but I raced two tracks, the same one. The first time damaging my car the second time making it through with a car I'm used to.
This is not one of my favorite tracks but I'm in the middle of tourniment mode so can't and wn't show that yet. Lol
here is the link.

I totally agree
The game is worth the price especially for iOS. It is more realistic than the Mac/ PC versions.
A podcast has been recorded and it will be available soon in the site for those who want to know more how the game is played from an iOS device. The only option I really want to have in this game is to race with friends and 2 player mode to make it more interesting.
Windows Version
Hello Clare, could you please tell me how can I get the windows version of this game? thanks
You go to their website, and
You go to their website, and buy the windows version. I don't have tiehr site on hand, but hope that somewhat helps
Issues with the Windows version of this game.
Hi, I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me fix the issue that I have when playing this game on windows. It says that it is unable to create the player. It says that it cannot create something to do with 3-D audio. When I looked at the direct X diagnostics thing, it says that 3-D acceleration is unavailable. Can anyone help me trying to fix this issue? Thanks a lot.
Email the developer with any
Email the developer with any direct x logs you might have. .
Take care.
They tell me that this issue
They tell me that this issue is outside their control.
Um? How? Ok, if it is a
Um? How? Ok, if it is a hardware issue which I assume it is, then yes it is out of their control, but if it is a software issue like with the game then it is not.
My thoughts
After a week or so from buying the iOS version of Audio Rally Racing for iOS, I regret. I played the whole game and completed all nations and tracks and found all of them are the same. No challenges, no 2 player mode, no sharing scores, and many other things. In addition to that, the developer pulled all of his games from the AppStore. I can't download them even after purchasing them.
I contacted the developer via email but he never replies. I contacted him via phone and he keeps on saying I'm currently in a meeting. I requested the latest game update for Mac/ PC several times but I didn't get it yet.
I'm not interested in his games anymore. What do you gamers think?
I now have both versions of the game
As a follow-up to my previous post, I bought the IOS version of Audio Rally Racing at the weekend, and I love it. What people said above about the IOS version feeling more realistic is so very true: I'm still keeping the Windows version and will still play that, but it's great to have the IOS version for those times when I'm not anywhere near the computer. I'm sorry that one of the people who posted here is disillusioned with the developers of Audio Rally Racing and their products: I'm happy with them myself. It did take me a while to receive the link for the Windows version of Audio Rally Racing when I bought it, but it works well, as does the IOS version. I'm hardly the best driver in the world, in spite of very good instructions from the game, so both versions are still challenging for me.
Glad you're happy
I love this developer's game a lot.and I've been waiting for this game since a year or more. Unfortunately, the developer's goal is to sell thousand copies of the game without providing us the right service. As mentioned above, all other games by this developer is no longer available in the AppStore. Most of them are new, and other games are old. What can I do?
Wonder why games are no longer in the App Store!
It's strange that this developer's games have all suddenly disappeared from the App Store, and i'm sure we all wonder why that might be the case. Audio Rally Racing was still there last Saturday, that's when I bought it: as I write this, I haven't checked the App Store to see whether that game is still there or whether other apps from the same developer have returned. It may turn out that the disappearance of this developer's games from the App Store is not their fault. Yesterday i read some articles saying that Apple had pulled quite a few apps of different kinds from the store because they were suspected of having malware in them. I don't have links to hand, and I am not saying that the developers of Audio Rally Racing were among those who had their apps taken out of the store, but there may be some good reason that this developer's apps are no longer there, even if it's not the one I mentioned above.
I read this as well...
I read this as well, but I can tell you that this app wasn't in the list that I checked out yesterday. Angry berds II was though.
Games show up in the U.S. App Store
I have no problem finding the games.
Available in French App Store too
I just checked in the French App Store, and Audio Rally Racing is still there. Interestingly, other apps which I thought were by the same developer, such as The Inquisitor and Audiospeed, come up under a different developer name: I don't know why that is the case, but those apps are all in the French App Store as well. So, in spite of what was said earlier in this thread, I don't think any of this developer's apps have been pulled from the store. I guess I should have investigated sooner! (Smile).
Thank you so much all :)
I don't know why is that either.
Finally, it is there. Once again, thank you all.
I've been meaning to write
I've been meaning to write about this game for a while now, so here goes. First, the positives. The game has visual elements. This means that I can play with my kids. Far too often, games for the blind leave out the sighted, which is a huge reverse accessibility issue. I realize that to most blind folks this doesn't matter. After all, the sighted have their own games to play. However, when I see a game I really like, I like to get my kids involved, to see just how well they can do at it. I like to compare scores and that kind of thing, but mostly, as I said, just to share the experience
Now on to the game itself. I really found that only one car was worth running, and that's the flaming turbo racer. All its parameters are excellent, which means super high speeds and great accelleration, with excellent maneuverability. I selected that car first thing, because I'm an expert gamer and I was hoping for a real challenge. I entered championship mode... and was through the whole thing in less than three hours. It would have gone faster, but that the speech is noninterruptable. After the first few tracks, I didn't care to hear the stats, but had no choice. I was anxious to get to the next track, then! the next nation, because frankly I did not find it challenging in the least. Yes, the holes in the road were a little tricky, but that was literally all. I did not ever have to slow my car down to take a turn or series of turns. It was top speed from start to finish. This of course diminished the challenge a lot"
If you guys have Audio Speed, then, I wouldn't bother getting this one, especially for the price, which is outrageous. I was willing to pay the price myself because I'm a believer in supporting devs that make blind-accessible games, but this one just didn't do it for me at all, and it really could have. I think part ofThe problem is that game devs don't get to hear about the really challenging games we play. They often dumb their games down to reach the lowest common denominator, the worst possible player. While that player should be able to enjoy the game also, there is often nothing for the extreme gamer looking to get lost in a game.
There are really just one or two things this dev could do to make their game a lot more challenging. Firstdon't just have variable curve lengths, but curve angles too. Announce the angle, and we can know enough ahead of time if we need to brake and if so, how much. Top Speed 3 is a perfect example of this. In that game, you can make your own cars and tracks, and there are three types of turns: easy, hard, and hairpin, and each curve can be as long or short as is desired. There's no way you can take a hairpin turn with even the most well-designed car
Next, you don't crash. This isn't very realistic. True, if you bump into something relatively inconsequential you may very well get off with light damage to your car: but if you're doing top speed and don't make the curve, you're going off road, and crashing
There is also the driving mechanic. In almost every blind racing game, you simply slide across the road. There is no straightening out of turns or anything like that, and even though I've been blind all my life, I have driven many times, and this doesn't feel anything like shriving. For example, you come to a fifty-degree turn. You go through the turn, but turn a bit too far. Now, though you're headed straight again, you're not going straight down the track. You're shrifting some, because the angle is off, and you've got to compensate. This is not to even mention how little bumps in the road throw you off. People have to constantly adjust for those too.
Finally, is this a race or not? You can hardly call it that, in my opinionif there are no other racers! Give me the ability to compete, in realtime, with other players or at least an AI. Maybe they'll try running me off the road, maybe they'll just try to be faster, but one thing's for sure: I won't necessarily win, no matter how hard I play. This is a good thing!
Also, why is everything available from the get go? You should be able to unlock better and better cars, but you get them all from the start. Cars and tracks and nations being unlockable means having to progress through the game, like in a career mode. That would add a lot to the excitement.
Now I'll end with one more positive aspect of this game, but I think it's out of place. That is, 'the environmental sounds for this game are awesome, but you barely ghear them or notice them because you're in a loud car focussing on other things. Find a nice quiet car sometime and just slowly go through a track that has sunny weather and you'll pick up on what I mean. These sounds" are beautiful, and make me want to request a biking game just so I can enjoy cruising through them.
So did I find the game worth the money? I played through the whole thing in less than four hours, so no. Could it be made better? Yes, and how! 'Are there awesome things about it? Absolutely, but the most awesome thing about it is its potential should they decide to improove it. ;, . !
I like your feedback. I hope
I like your feedback. I hope the dev reads this forum thread as yoru suggestions would make for a better game. I do agree that $15 was outrages but take 30 percent away and that's what the dev gets, so in a way they have to cover that plus the $99 a year to be in the ios app store, and another $99 a year if they want to be in the mac app store to.
Game
Hi all. So, that game isn't bad for me. We should write to the developers about our suggestions. It will be great if game will have multyplayer mode, corere mode and some other.
I totally agree
I totally agree. This would be a great feature to have. I'd love to compete with other gamers, play different challenges and more.
I have written to the devs
I have written to the devs about this, however they don't seem to want to implement multy play and game center support. I guess we keep writing.
E-mailing devs
Hi. How can i contanct devs? It also will be great if there is a moad when we can race on tracks with another cars, with bots.
I did as well
I wrote to the game developer several times requesting for this feature and other game improvements but got no answer from him. I highly recommend gamers to post their thoughts and suggestions here and stay in touch with the game developer.
Hi. I didn't find where i

Update
Hi. I wrote ceveral times to developer, but didn't receive any answer. I thing that this game is discontinued and we will never have an update. But i like this game. For me it's better to play it on iphone, not on pc.
