watchOS and Apple Watch Apps

Hi all,
I just bought an apple watch sport 42MM! Its the gold aluminum with midnight blue band. I was debating this purchase for a few hours this evening, not from a using stand point but from a cost stand point. Well I did it anyway. Now that it is coming in the mail, I would like to start learning about how to use it. I want to be able to have the knologe that way when I get it in the mail I can start using it right away. I know there is a tun of apple watch 101 podcasts on applevis here, but I just don't know where to get started, I've listened to the unboxing recording, but I don't know where to go from there. I would appreciate if anyone has any advice on how I should proceed.

thanks
Jeff

Suggest ggo with what you are interested. when you are listening, see if you can play and follow along with your watch. Have fun with it.

There isn't a linear way to approach this. It's really up to what you are interested in using your watch for. Look at the list of the 101 podcasts and see which ones sound like they interest you. That's what I did. I think I can probably say that I based my start with the watch on those podcasts. I can't even remember what order I listened to them in, although it was probably in release order as they were still being produced at the time. I still haven't even opened the Apple Watch manual I downloaded in PDF to my phone, but I'm getting on just fine with the watch even so.

Hi Jeff,

The answer is in your post. David Woodbridge's Apple Watch Podcasts are, without doubt, the seminal guide to Accessable use of the Apple Watch. Listen, learn and enjoy.
The only tip that I would add is "Use the Force" touch. Often, in my explorations of Apps I would be stumped as to how to proceed, I now know to try the Force Touch just in case something good happens. Surprisingly often, it does!

Good Luck.

is there a podcast on turning the watch on, and a walk through?
