Push notifications not working properly on iOS 9

Hi,

I updated to iOS 9 the other day and am having a problem with the push notifications. What seems to happen is, if my phone has been locked for more than about 5 minutes, any notifications that come through don't make any sound or vibration, but are there on the lock screen when I go to unlock it. Earlier when I was somewhere really quiet, I randomly heard VO say "screen locked", and when I checked there was a notification that had just come through, so they might be showing up on the screen but don't vibrate or play the sound.

The new low power mode isn't on, do not disturb is definitely off, and all the notification settings for all apps are exactly the same as they were before updating. Anyone know how to sort it?

Thanks

I've noticed this too. They seem to work randomly at best. Usually, it's not a huge problem for me as nothing truly important ever comes through, but it is frustrating, and an app I've used for years called Chime, which is basicly a talking clock that I use to announce the time every 15 minutes hasn't been working reliably at all. Sometimes, it works just fine, but so far, I haven't heard it once this morning. I hope that whatever the issues are with push notifications, they get fixed in the 9.1 update, whenever that happens.

are you guys putting your phone face down on a table when this is happening? in ios 9 your phone is designed not to make much noise while it is face down on a surface such as a table or desk.
