I went looking for the app after reading your question. The discription and reviews sounded so good that I bought it. So far, I have taken a picture of a dog, a man and a house plant. It didn't know what any of these were.
Also, unlike how the reviews imply, it certainly didn't tell me anything at all as I pointed the phone at things.
Either I'm missing something important or this app is a dud. If anyone knows, I too would be grateful.
I don't know whether it is only for me or its a general bug with talking goggles. It is not working with my iPhone 5s. I tried deleting the app and reinstalling as well. but no use.
Hi, For me, Talking Goggles works but only when it wants to, not when you want it to. Sometimes i have gotten very good results reading a display of some machine, an espresso machine for example but at other times i could wait forever and nothing got spoken and eventually the app would either hang or crash. Too bad it's so unreliable since the possibility to use it in video mode is very good for looking at displays etc that have no screen reader.
