Deleting apps off an old iPhone

Hi,
Recently I upgraded my iPhone. I want to delete all my apps off of the old phone. Will deleting the apps off the old phone mess up my new phone? I have several games going that I can play on either phone. I don't want to mess up these games. I know how to delete an app using the double tap and hold method. Is there another method I should use?
Thanks,
Mel

As long as you have first added the apps to the new phone, then deleting them from the old phone shouldn't affect anything such as currently running games. Be aware, however, that if you decide the sync the old phone to iTunes on your PC or to the Cloud, then this will change things. Caution is recommended here.

Hi Melinda
First of all congratulations for your new {iPhone}
The answer to your first question:
Recently I upgraded my iPhone. I want to delete all my apps off of the old phone. Will deleting the apps off the old phone mess up my new phone?
the answer is Nope Melinda
but I have a question for you before continue
How did you transfer the information to your new iPhone?
The double tap and hold method will delete item by item how ever there a way to erase all your settings, and content, include apps, data, address book and more will be factory settings.
that's why asked to you how did you transfer the information to your new iPhone? so if you do not need data info from your old device it can be easy and faster.
if case you wanna do it go to
settings// general// reset// erase all content and settings.
good lack.

The easiest way to erase apps off your old phone would be to restore it as a new phone.
