i would appreciate your help with these two issues.
1. is there any limitation for the number of apps you can put in one page? it is very tricky when i try to move the apps. i can enter the menu but then sometimes voice over just says "icon approaching border" and won't let me move it to the next or previous page. so i'd love to know how many apps can you put in a page? and how do i know when the page is full?
2. is there a way to control the volume of the voice effects without changing the volume of the speech itself? the problem is i love the sound effect i don't want to turn them off, but sometimes they are getting too loud and strong. it happens for example when i use the volume buttons if i want to listen to music or watch something.

I checked page one and 2 in my iPhone 6. I counted 19 in each page. Also if you turn on audioducking it will turn the volume of voiceover when you play a song. Go to rotor to turn it on.

well it's wierd. i counted 12 apps on my first page and 24 on the second. i thought then it made sense because someone told me that the first page is different than the others, but then it let me put another app on it so i am totally confused.
about audioducking: the problem is when i use it the volume of the song decrease even if voiceover is silent.
Page size and sound volume
Regarding the number of apps (icons) per page on an iPhone 6, there are 6 rows of 4 icons, not including the dock. So, each page can contain up to 24 icons plus 4 on the dock for a total of 28. Of course, the apps on the dock show on every page, so there's essentially 24 unique icons per page plus the 4 icons on the dock showing on every page.
You can increase the number of apps per page by using folders. Each folder appears as an icon on the page, so it utilizes 1 of the 24 slots on the page. I'm not sure what the limit is on the number of apps you can place in a folder.
If you go into sounds under settings, you can adjust the folume of the sounds with a slider. There's a checkbox to enable/disable the volume control buttons controling the volume. I suspect you can adjust the volume of the sounds and disable the buttons so that the volume doesn't change. Let us know if this solves your problem.

thankyou for the answer to the first question. i still think moving apps is too tricky and sometimes i had to try several times before i succeded to locate them where i wanted, i wish apple will find a better way to manage that.
about the sound effects: i was talking about the sounds voice over makes for example when typing or clicking on an app. this checkbox in the sound setting changes the way the volume buttons effect ringtones and alerts. now it is off. when it was on the voice over volume could be changed only with the router but it was too loud even when set on the lowest volume. now when it is off the buttons effect voice over as well but what i am trying to say that sometimes the sounds for example when you type or open apps are too strong.

I don't think you can change the volume of VoiceOver sound effects
I'd like to be able to change their volume, as well. For now, you can adjust the speech volume by turning on the roter setting for it, speech volume is at 80% or so by default I think. Only thing is if you turn speech above 85% or so, it gets distorted a little.
